67’ El Camino Carb & Intake Install! Project Ep. 2 (Chevy 327/350)

Installing Edelbrock 1406 Carburetor and 2701 intake on my 327/350 small block Chevy! Super easy to do and runs absolutely great. Replaced the stock intake and quadrajet carb which had no choke, which was the main reason for the swap.

When driving and warm does the choke need to be 100% open

Wheres ur timing at? i see u had it on the full manifold port. But at end u had it on ported.. Hows it run on ported?

Honestly not sure on what your asking. I don’t know what the difference is from ported/unported

One has constant vacuum to distributor one has ported vacuum when given gas.
