Quick Ballet Tips: Don't do this in your relevé

- Today I'm going over a quick correction that I've been working on with my students. There is sibtle rocking back in the feet when we come out of relevé that we want to work against to get the most out of each relevé.
Let me know in the comments what you think and if this is something you are going to work on!

My name is Elizabeth and I am a late starter who was able to make a career in ballet. I am also a wife, mama to 3 beautiful girls and always on a mission to find balance in the studio and in life. I have been teaching ballet for over 10 years and love talking about all things ballet, mindfulness, and health!

I noticed this by myself... I was doing releves and it came to my mind: "wait a minute... the -coming-down-from-releve" is a perfect turn-out strengthening exercise... why doesn't any "turn out exercises"-video out there mention that? If you attempt to not loose any turnout while coming down it is super hard to do.
Yes! Thank you Elizabeth! 🙌😀
My pleasure!! 😊

This is a lot harder in pointe shoes😂but something I need to work on in them!
so soooo true! Pointe shoes make everything a little more challenging! haha
Excited to be more aware of this in my classes tomorrow!
How's it going? Noticing a difference?
@@TheWholePointe A *lot* more stability in second, just being mindful of this helped a lot
