Hey just wanted to let you know, foot stretchers are actually bad for your feet. It doesnt actually build up muscle, and doesn't teach proper turnout. I just want to let you know!!!
Not a dancer but I totally found myself doing these stretches. I could see it helping most athletes since you are learning body awareness and working/stretching your leg muscles. I love doing pilates as crosstraining to gain strength so I think these stretches are going to help me stay flexible and strong ( even if I rarely need good feet in my sport).
That usually means that your right side is dominant. This is also true in your arms. Try this: reach behind your back with your right arm and try and touch your left shoulder blade. Now do the same with your left hand and right shoulder blade. Your probably more flexible on the left side
Thank you so much for this! I'm an adult dancer returning back to the dance world. It's been so discouraging to see how weak and inflexible my feet have become.
Non dancer here but just want to say how much I love and enjoy all your videos! Sitting on my sofa, watching, I realized my foot was flexing during your instruction!😆👍Hope you're having a fab summer and congrats on all your new and exciting projects!! Hugs fm 🇨🇦💞
After 3 stress fractures on the left side and (only?) one one the right side, my left side is really worse than my left!! It's so rare to see great dancers who are great teachers, but you seem to love so much and you are good at it :)
Hi Claudia!! Love your videos keep at it! Please do a another Pro Bag release!! Christmas is rolling around the corner and that is what absolutely want.
guys be super careful when doing this stretch, i did it and fractured my toe. take your time and don’t overdo moves, my point will never be the same now
wow wow wow... I did the key exercises and my feet were so different from when I started! in a really, really good way! I'm feeling much stronger and more mobile in my foot too, which is unexpected. :D Thanks so much might add this to my daily routine! ps. my left foot is much more flexible than my right foot, so much so that it is immediately recognizable!! when I'm pointing my right foot really hard, it's 4 or 5 centimeters away from the ground but on my left foot it's around 3. like, !!!!!!
Definitely a lefty! I had 2 reconstructive surgeries on my right ankle I’m desperate to get mobility back! My feet are the most important thing to me!!
Hi Claudia, would appreciate if you have any stretches for improving winging of the feet. I do outward pulses with theraband for strength but my outward mobility is quite limited. Do you have stretch and flexibility (as opposed to strengthening) recommendations for winging? Thank you!
I love ballet and want to pursue it as a career, but genetics weren't exactly on my side in a few ways (barely any arch, low turnout, etc.) Will the exercises on Coach Me World help with this? Also, tysm for always being so positive and upbeat in your videos! Makes it so much more fun to watch :)
Hey Claudia! I would love to see a video from you explaining everything coachme world. I've heard a lot about it, but is still am not sure how everything works
Yess I need that so bad. My legs have no hyperextension that is noticeable, and so my lines on pointe don't look that great. I don't have flexible feet either
Too bad I already have hyperflexibility in my feet but it also means I have weak ankles and doing calf rises a lot I actually almost injured my calf muscles 😔
Hi Claudia first of all, I love your videos, they are so helpful! I just wanted to know your opinions on foot stretchers. Do you think that they are an effective/safe way to stretch your feet?
This was extremely helpful!❤️ thank you so much for this video! Also after I do these exercises, do I have to keep doing them to keep my foot like that?
I have a high arch when I stretch my foot but my demi point doesn't stretch. I'm right legged for almost everything but because I turn on my left leg my demi point is more flexible on my left.
Thank You so much with this video! It helped A LOT! I do have a video request! Could you please make a video on how to get ready for Pointe? I’m in Pre-Pointe, and I’m the only skilled ballerina who knows what they are doing, and how to fix it. I’m just waiting for my teacher to tell when... but I think if you create a video, I’ll definitely be told I’m ready for Pointe! (I’m 11, and has been dancing for 5 years) Thank You so much!
I just did this and it has really improved my foot flexibility! Especially in my ankle!
I was just putting my foot in my footstretcher, and I was setting the timer. This showed up in my notifs.

Thanks so much I was literally thinking I need a foot strength and stretch thing!
YAY!

My right foot is stronger but my left is more flexible. 🤔

YEEESSSSS!!! I needed this video a lot!!! Thank you Claudia. I´ll be sending my photos of improvement ;)
Can you please do a video about developing hyperextension without damaging or weakening knees?
Yess I need that so bad. My legs have no hyperextension that is noticeable, and so my lines on pointe don't look that great. I don't have flexible feet either
Too bad I already have hyperflexibility in my feet but it also means I have weak ankles and doing calf rises a lot I actually almost injured my calf muscles 😔

Can you use a Pilates ball if you don’t have that ball
Is it okay to use small foam roller?
I love this video I do not have good feet

Thank you for this!! I haven’t been able to do pointe as much as I used to because I’m doing online classes and I needed this!
Thank You so much with this video! It helped A LOT! I do have a video request! Could you please make a video on how to get ready for Pointe? Did you grew your calves from doing ballet?
When I’m stretching/pointing my feet why does it cramp up?
