This is a very goofy theory, but it would be hilarious if Loki has the real Gumu Gomu fruit and the royal family thought they had the Nika Nika fruit the whole time, since they are indistinguishable before awakening. This would explain why he thinks he has the sun god fruit, and theoretically he could stretch himself big enough to fight all the other giants. I think this idea is a STRETCH but I kinda love it, even if I’m sure most would not like something this hyped to be a gag.

Reasons being, A) Calls himself the "Sun" God. B) Hajrudin wanted the Mera Mera No Mi to become King of Elbaph. Maybe he thought the Flame form was needed to challenge his father/beat Loki. C) Sutr is the King of the fire GIANTS, who burns all of Asgard and the 9 realms at the end of Ragnarok. A fire giant could easily be taken for a "SUN" God. A fiery being of flame.

It was cute that Vivi included the X, but that none of the straw hats that saw it were familiar, except Robin who was their enemy in Alabasta... Vivi is letting them know she is safe, and it'll come up at the end of the arc for sure
The thing is this chapter references to chapter 113 "It's all right" which is Vivi's message to the Strawhats. Moreover, the way this message was hidden is very interesting too because Vivi was the only one outside main Strawhats crew who recognised 3D2Y tatoo and had thoughts that there had been some message hidden
Pretty sure that Loki did not kill his father. Shouldnt be a coincedence that we learn about an alleged killer in the same chapter they lied about Luffy being Vegapunks murder. Plus Luffy does not seem to get bad vibes from him. I think more about a good soul turning to the dark side because of a setup and the suffering he endured in return.
At this point of the story I’m kind of expecting every major character introduced will have an awakened devil fruit the only doubt in this case is it’s legendary and might not need an awakening if OP, ps love all your videos❤

Well, I personally have an idea of the DF being an illusion type DF. The reason for Loki's eyes being blindfolded (aside from a callback to the mythical Loki having his eyes drenched in poison from a snake that's hanging from a branch as a form of punishment) might be because like how you put it for the transformation DF idea, he needs to look at you in the eye to activate his DF. It would explain why he's also in the forest too, since everyone would keep away (outside of the animals who'd be scared from the aura Loki's given) and thus his DF would be useless that way. Although, I won't lie: a transformation DF would fit someone that was based of the god of mischief and trickery.
I was thinking the roar Luffy heard could have been Lokis stomach growling. As we know Luffy doesn't like letting people go hungry. So i suspect Luffy will likely help him out because of this and kick off the crazy. Loki being the trickster would absolutely take advantage of Luffys kindness. Though another thought i had was if Luffy could maybe sense his intentions and decide NOT to help him, and Oda goes a different direction. Regardless this arc is set to be top tier.

It wasn't two of them, but to do that with not full rest from Wano, a scuffle with Kaku and longer scuffle with Lucci....yeah, wait till we see who Zoro goes up against this arc. Hajrudin set out to see to get a devil fruit powerful enough that he could take on his brother, when he heard the mera mera no mi was being offered in Dressrosa he went there to get it. Also Oda foreshadowed it by stating Hajrudins ultimate attack on Macvise Gungnir which was one of Odins weapons i think.
3 years before Luffy got to Thriller Bark , Lola was scheduled to marry Loki and she ran away. The timeskip happened so Loki had to have did what he did within the last 5 years.
Loki’s speech of calling it Warland is what excited me the most. He 100% know ancient history and secrets of the world. Also what will be the twist? He is chained up, so everything screams Fenrir. Crucifixion doesn't necessarily need to occur on a cross with nails. In Japan, crucifixion meant being tight in some chains to some cross made of wood(kinda like Momo in Wano) and be let to starve to death. I mean, technically, luffy did steal his fruit. However, he didn't kill anyone to do it. Both loki and black beard say they want to bring about the destruction of the world. Crazy theory, what if all the joy boy candidates come from a line that goes to joyboy "satellites". Each one is joyboy, so their kin will all be related. Perhaps that is where the d comes from. Maybe certain satellites have a negative outlook on the world and think the only way to fix things of to cleanse it with fire and start a new. Other satellite may still strive for the salvation of the world and all of its people. Hence you have prospective will for both the saving and destruction of the world.

now that you mentioned the idea of Loki wanting to fulfill the prophecy that involves the destruction of the world, including Elbaf. It does remind me of Madam Shyarly’s prediction of Luffy destroying Fishman Island. I think most of us agree that the destruction of the red line by Luffy’s hands theory to fulfill the purpose of the One Piece lines up well with Shyarly’s prediction. So I can totally see Loki’s desire to fulfill the sun god role he envisions as a parallel to Luffy, as the new sun god, finishing what Joy Boy started with the One Piece.

Since Loki's sin in the mythology was being the cause of Baldur's death and he now calls himself the "Sun God" maybe what happened was he ate the Mythical God of Light fruit and thus became a kind of Sun God, it would be possible that his power of trickery is all light manipulation based making him true to his inspiration. And by using Light Manipulation it would natrually include the power to create darkness by diverting the light, maybe his created darkness to monopolize light for himself.
I dont watch too many movies but i loved the loki from avengers and i hope he is similar. Like you said, he's clever. In avengers he basically was the freest acting character. This loki started chained up but maybe he'll end up acting freely at the end

It's stated nowhere that Loki succeeded in eating the legendary fruit, only that he killed his father (which might not even be true). My theory is that the fruit was none other than the *Nika fruit*, and the WG (Pandora?) swoop it in the chaos. Shanks learned of that trough his ties with Elbaf and stole the fruit back from the WG. Loki, not knowing any of that, still yearn to eat the fruit and fulfill the prophecy, thus why he call himself the sun god. The possibility that he's blind make thing even more interesting, because even if Luffy use G5 in front of him, he won't be able to see it and realize that the Nika fruit has already been eaten. We could see the two of them going on a devil fruit hunt together while being 100% obvious to the pointlessness of it. Classic Oda.
I love One Piece Size-Power-Scalling Oda always makes it a point to have Luffy´s enemies be really tall and they get taller as the story progresses. From Buggy who was roughly the same size as Luffy, then Arlong, Crocodile and Enel Then Lucci is kinda short in comparisson until he transforms Then Moria, Magellan Hody is again weaker so he goes back a few sizes from the previous ones but then again we get Caesar, Doffy, Katakuri, Kaido All increasing in size from the previous one. Then the Gorosei and now Loki arguably the tallest mofo we seen in base form

10 years ago when the proposed marriage between Loki and Lola. What if Loki killed his father but no one knew and this legendary devil allows Loki to change his appearance and he was pretending to be King Harald. A bit like Loki in MCU. This sort of happened in Wano as well with Kozuki Sukiyaki & Kurozumi Higurashi using the Clone Clone fruit.

A concept that Oda has not gone back to in a while that he introduced in Alabasta was the ability to infuse devil fruits with inanimate objects. Maybe the devil fruit that's being passed down isn't actually consumed by the king but is an object that "ate" the mythical devil fruit. We all keep saying that Otis set up most of the elements of the story before the times get maybe that was one of them.
Mythical Ragnarok fruit. The royal family being the keepers of a fruit that could bring end to the world. They kept it to keep the world safe with intent to not use it for that purpose. Loki steals it to abuse it. Back when we saw Hjarudin in the tournament he was competing for a fruit that would literally turn him into a Flame Giant.

I have a theory that Loki's power is more akin to "altering perception" aka if he can get you to look into his eyes, he can get you to believe his perspective whatever it may be. Currently don't have much I'm basing this on, but I think an interpretation of Loki's power that could play into how systems like haki alr work in one piece would be cool. I think of it as instead of seeing a potential future like future sight, the user would portray either a type of potential future as if it was reality. Think of it like how Bonny's fruit works, but instead of distorting a person's future and changing their physical attributes you distort their perception of the future, making them believe the reality you show them. Inevitably if a power like this exists I also believe this will ultimately be Usopps greatest power.

40:26 I think that Luffy is going to do the same thing that he does on this island that he does on every island, which is to help somebody who is unfairly made to be an underdog, but has a lot of potential. Heres my idea for Loki's devil fruit The Hito-Hito no mi mythical model: Trickster This devil fruit grants the wielder the ability the cast illusions around themselves and shapeshift. His illusions are incredibly lifelike but only effect his body and he can shapeshift between three forms: Snake, Wolf, Horse. His awakening allows him to cast his illusions and tricks on other people to either enhance or de-buff them and he can even manipulate reality to a certain extent and he can manifest his imagination into reality.
The Wolves in a snowy part of Elbaf is a clear ref to Lvl5 of Impel Down. Luffy releasing Loki would be a call back to Bon Clay freeing him or an inversion of releasing Ace.(Fire User) Originally the Hell Circles were 9 just like the Norse Realms but Oda cut them short so that not to postpone War.
Luffy's detection wasn't haki-based, it was 'voice of all things'-based, which means Loki probably really has a Mythical Zoan that has something in common with the Nika fruit, and will probably set up a tease or reveal for Blackbeard's fruit

It's also interesting that one of the giants who crossed the bridge is holding a Kanambo just like Kaido's Kanabo. Its kind of tin hatty, but I feel like this is the arc where all of the prior info we've received about giants, big mom, kaido, the sun god, all of it is going to come full circle here somehow. The lurking legend of Elbaph (official 'ph' at the end, in keeping with Nordic linguistics being rendered in English; I will miss "Fable backwards" though.) I had no doubt, from when Prince Loki was first introduced as a silhouette in the Whole Cake Island arc, that he would be a rebel, a hellion, something to go against certain taboos of giant society. It is in keeping with his mythological inspiration who is predisposed, by nature, to go counter/untraditional to everything he comes up against. But just as often as myths Loki gets the Aesir into trouble with his malicious mischief, he saves their butts with his non-lateral thinking and by not using the "violence first" approach to conflicts. Glory to my patron god, "he of the silver tongue and flashing eyes", Loki!
What I find interesting is the fact that royal familiy passed down this legendary devil fruit - meaning they have a lot of knowledge on DF => we will hopefully learn something about their nature, origins and/or rules as well! Maybe we will even know how blackbears took whitebeard fruit - maybe he used the same method royal giants use to keep this DF in their posession. Haven't seen anyone mentioned it, but to me it seems very intruguing and important point with huuuge potential reveals

Oda using the diorama to show how big Elbaph can be for the normal human is kind of genius. As soon as Luffy and his crews saw the Elbaph, I can feel the enormous size of the Elbaph. The normal human size are just like the ant. When Oda show the whole Elbaph island, I realized Elbaph itself is the world of its own. It is super massive and gigantic island. LOL
Ik I was wrong previous arc but I think it makes way too much sense for both shanks and Blackbeard to show up in this arc, Shanks for his Viking themed crew, Blackbeard for certain fruit users like sanjuan wolf, pizzaro, aokiji, caterina Devon for her shapeshifting abilities or Blackbeard himself making the most sense being used here, we can also see him showing up later in the ship of pluton, especially due to the convenience of his home base, wano, and elbaf
My initial thought was Loki was going after the Gomu gomu no mi and when he killed the king maybe lost it cause it to spread to a random fruit so when shanks had the fruit he was essentially retrieving it for the giants until luffy stole it also when you remember jim carry in the mask his character is very similar to luffy gear 5 and that mask was supposed to get its power from Loki
the first parts of an arc tend to tell how the rest will go, and with the diorama I believe we'll get to see a lot of SCALE in an ironic way here, I think Loki will be the destruction/renovation of Elbaph, and his role will be the diorama, the small scale of what tiny looking Luffy will do to the entire world
I think they called loki cursed because he heard voices which is actually the voice of all things. They thought he was crazy. Hes just like koby and momo and luffy. Maybe the voices were telling him hes the sun god. Who knows.
Lokis eye being blindfolded could be because his natural ability, not DF must be illusion type. Just like from Aizen, you cannot look at his Bankai. Loki couldve been framed as well. Someone like Odin must have wanted the legendary fruit for himself and tricked everyone that loki did it.

I think why luffy could hear the roar while zoro was unable to is similar luffy and zunesha. I think loki is able to speak in the same way. I have a theory that its the voice of the D or language maybe and only those of the Clan of D are able to hear/use it. My example comes from Law and that it seemed like he noticed the voice of zunesha but he couldnt understand it. This may be due to personality traits and what is required to truly harness the traits of the Clan of D
Another interesting thing to consider about Loki trying to steal the royal family's devil fruit is the story of Adam and Eve from the bible. In Norse mythology, Loki has used his shapeshifting powers to take on female forms before, specifically using that new shape to bare children. So, Loki having some elements that tie him to Eve and attempting to eat the Fruit of Knowledge of Good and Evil could come into play here. Perhaps this devil fruit is in some way related.
Wonder how soul and his library in elbaf is connected to the giants , especially with them helping preserve the books during the ohara incidents . we still have missing links like big mom , kidd and shanks all having connections to the elbaf to be retconed into the arc .

Well, I personally have an idea of the DF being an illusion type DF. The reason for Loki's eyes being blindfolded (aside from a callback to the mythical Loki having his eyes drenched in poison from a snake that's hanging from a branch as a form of punishment) might be because like how you put it for the transformation DF idea, he needs to look at you in the eye to activate his DF. It would explain why he's also in the forest too, since everyone would keep away (outside of the animals who'd be scared from the aura Loki's given) and thus his DF would be useless that way.
Although, I won't lie: a transformation DF would fit someone that was based of the god of mischief and trickery.
I was thinking the roar Luffy heard could have been Lokis stomach growling. As we know Luffy doesn't like letting people go hungry. So i suspect Luffy will likely help him out because of this and kick off the crazy. Loki being the trickster would absolutely take advantage of Luffys kindness. Crazy theory, what if all the joy boy candidates come from a line that goes to joyboy "satellites". Each one is joyboy, so their kin will all be related. Perhaps that is where the d comes from. Maybe certain satellites have a negative outlook on the world and think the only way to fix things of to cleanse it with fire and start a new. Other satellite may still strive for the salvation of the world and all of its people. Hence you have prospective will for both the saving and destruction of the world.

I think most of us agree that the destruction of the red line by Luffy’s hands theory to fulfill the purpose of the One Piece lines up well with Shyarly’s prediction. So I can totally see Loki’s desire to fulfill the sun god role he envisions as a parallel to Luffy, as the new sun god, finishing what Joy Boy started with the One Piece.

Since Loki's sin in the mythology was being the cause of Baldur's death and he now calls himself the "Sun God" maybe what happened was he ate the Mythical God of Light fruit and thus became a kind of Sun God, it would be possible that his power of trickery is all light manipulation based making him true to his inspiration. And by using Light Manipulation it would natrually include the power to create darkness by diverting the light, maybe his created darkness to monopolize light for himself.

Loki, not knowing any of that, still yearn to eat the fruit and fulfill the prophecy, thus why he call himself the sun god.
The possibility that he's blind make thing even more interesting, because even if Luffy use G5 in front of him, he won't be able to see it and realize that the Nika fruit has already been eaten. A concept that Oda has not gone back to in a while that he introduced in Alabasta was the ability to infuse devil fruits with inanimate objects. Maybe the devil fruit that's being passed down isn't actually consumed by the king but is an object that "ate" the mythical devil fruit. We all keep saying that Otis set up most of the elements of the story before the times get maybe that was one of them.
Mythical Ragnarok fruit. The royal family being the keepers of a fruit that could bring end to the world. They kept it to keep the world safe with intent to not use it for that purpose. Loki steals it to abuse it. Back when we saw Hjarudin in the tournament he was competing for a fruit that would literally turn him into a Flame Giant.

I have a theory that Loki's power is more akin to "altering perception" aka if he can get you to look into his eyes, he can get you to believe his perspective whatever it may be. Currently don't have much I'm basing this on, but I think an interpretation of Loki's power that could play into how systems like haki alr work in one piece would be cool. I think of it as instead of seeing a potential future like future sight, the user would portray either a type of potential future as if it was reality. Think of it like how Bonny's fruit works, but instead of distorting a person's future and changing their physical attributes you distort their perception of the future, making them believe the reality you show them.
Inevitably if a power like this exists I also believe this will ultimately be Usopps greatest power.

This devil fruit grants the wielder the ability the cast illusions around themselves and shapeshift. His illusions are incredibly lifelike but only effect his body and he can shapeshift between three forms: Snake, Wolf, Horse. His awakening allows him to cast his illusions and tricks on other people to either enhance or de-buff them and he can even manipulate reality to a certain extent and he can manifest his imagination into reality.

The Wolves in a snowy part of Elbaf is a clear ref to Lvl5 of Impel Down. Luffy releasing Loki would be a call back to Bon Clay freeing him or an inversion of releasing Ace.(Fire User) Originally the Hell Circles were 9 just like the Norse Realms but Oda cut them short so that not to postpone War.
Luffy's detection wasn't haki-based, it was 'voice of all things'-based, which means Loki probably really has a Mythical Zoan that has something in common with the Nika fruit, and will probably set up a tease or reveal for Blackbeard's fruit

It's also interesting that one of the giants who crossed the bridge is holding a Kanambo just like Kaido's Kanabo. Its kind of tin hatty, but I feel like this is the arc where all of the prior info we've received about giants, big mom, kaido, the sun god, all of it is going to come full circle here somehow. The lurking legend of Elbaph (official 'ph' at the end, in keeping with Nordic linguistics being rendered in English; I will miss "Fable backwards" though.) I had no doubt, from when Prince Loki was first introduced as a silhouette in the Whole Cake Island arc, that he would be a rebel, a hellion, something to go against certain taboos of giant society. It is in keeping with his mythological inspiration who is predisposed, by nature, to go counter/untraditional to everything he comes up against. But just as often as myths Loki gets the Aesir into trouble with his malicious mischief, he saves their butts with his non-lateral thinking and by not using the "violence first" approach to conflicts.

What I find interesting is the fact that royal familiy passed down this legendary devil fruit - meaning they have a lot of knowledge on DF => we will hopefully learn something about their nature, origins and/or rules as well! Maybe we will even know how blackbears took whitebeard fruit - maybe he used the same method royal giants use to keep this DF in their posession. Haven't seen anyone mentioned it, but to me it seems very intruguing and important point with huuuge potential reveals

Oda using the diorama to show how big Elbaph can be for the normal human is kind of genius. As soon as Luffy and his crews saw the Elbaph, I can feel the enormous size of the Elbaph. Ik I was wrong previous arc but I think it makes way too much sense for both shanks and Blackbeard to show up in this arc, Shanks for his Viking themed crew, Blackbeard for certain fruit users like sanjuan wolf, pizzaro, aokiji, caterina Devon for her shapeshifting abilities or Blackbeard himself making the most sense being used here, we can also see him showing up later in the ship of pluton, especially due to the convenience of his home base, wano, and elbaf
My initial thought was Loki was going after the Gomu gomu no mi and when he killed the king maybe lost it cause it to spread to a random fruit so when shanks had the fruit he was essentially retrieving it for the giants until luffy stole it also when you remember jim carry in the mask his character is very similar to luffy gear 5 and that mask was supposed to get its power from Loki
the first parts of an arc tend to tell how the rest will go, and with the diorama I believe we'll get to see a lot of SCALE in an ironic way here, I think Loki will be the destruction/renovation of Elbaph, and his role will be the diorama, the small scale of what tiny looking Luffy will do to the entire world

Lokis eye being blindfolded could be because his natural ability, not DF must be illusion type. Just like from Aizen, you cannot look at his Bankai. Loki couldve been framed as well. Someone like Odin must have wanted the legendary fruit for himself and tricked everyone that loki did it.

I think why luffy could hear the roar while zoro was unable to is similar luffy and zunesha. I think loki is able to speak in the same way. I have a theory that its the voice of the D or language maybe and only those of the Clan of D are able to hear/use it. My example comes from Law and that it seemed like he noticed the voice of zunesha but he couldnt understand it. This may be due to personality traits and what is required to truly harness the traits of the Clan of D
Another interesting thing to consider about Loki trying to steal the royal family's devil fruit is the story of Adam and Eve from the bible. In Norse mythology, Loki has used his shapeshifting powers to take on female forms before, specifically using that new shape to bare children. So, Loki having some elements that tie him to Eve and attempting to eat the Fruit of Knowledge of Good and Evil could come into play here. Perhaps this devil fruit is in some way related.
Wonder how soul and his library in elbaf is connected to the giants , especially with them helping preserve the books during the ohara incidents . we still have missing links like big mom , kidd and shanks all having connections to the elbaf to be retconed into the arc .
