Fuzz Fiddle with Flax Ep. 17: Fjord Fuzz Bifrost

Today's episode of FFF took a while to edit... and by the time I finished this pedal is no longer available new! You can still find them on Reverb.com and other sites, and I'm glad I snagged one when I did.
Bifrost is a two-in-one: it's a fuzz, but also a delay pedal! With the fuzz gain set to minimum the repeats are relatively clear-probably a PT2399 chip, but I'm not sure. The fuzz goes from "basically an overdrive" to "caving in on itself chaos," and the delay times range from "indistinguishable doubling" to "slow melting". Coolest of all, there's a limiter built-in, so when (not if!) you send the pedal into self-oscillation it doesn't get too out of control.

This can make you sound like a genius and you can be quite average 😆
