I guess I'm the bad "grandson". I've got an original 67 Impala SS with the 327 4V, TH-400 combo with a lot more miles than that Blazer. I don't drive it gentle at all. It's got great get up and go and is just a lot of fun to drive. I don't drive it hard, but definitely not at all gentle and not very often. It's a great driving experience. My grandfather bought it brand new in Dec. 1966.
69"s I think have the birfield front axle, less desirable but I'd own that blazer in a second, very sweet. He says he babies it but doesn't get the heat working??
