Never worked on a Bulldozer but job looked well done, When I get my B.D. i'm confident I could repair an idler if needed. Thanks to Andrew I have a new attitude about trying to fix everything myself. I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving
That looked really interesting. Would have been excellent to have watched that at normal speed with Andrew's commentary going along with it. Oh well, such were the early learning days but it was still interesting to see what he was doing. Thanks Andrew! 👍
I sure like the way cat designed the track to go together much easier than a pin and link method. great job... much easier with power grease gun also instead of ten cartridges
HaHa, when I saw you jump off, I was like ha, gotta read the comments on this! When I was a kid feeding horses hay we used to jump off the tractor to walk beside and throw hay, then after put one hand on fender the other hand on loader, and step back up onto tractor, with wheel right there coming at you. The neighbour told my dad, he felt sick watching us do this, so dad said we better quit before a funeral. A few days later he sees me walking beside the tractor feeding. I get back to the barn he said 'I thought we agreed not to do that anymore'. I said 'I jump clear when exiting, and when I get back on I go behind, step up onto draw bar, grab the canopy, and swing into the seat. He said 'still not a good idea'. So I only did it sometimes after that. Lol. Hell, people are jumping out of perfectly good planes everyday!
Blaine Stockwell If you don’t see the danger differences in safety between an unreachable airplane and a tractor with a dozen of unforgiving pinch points, then go ahead and keep continuing what you are doing.
Looks like it took a bit of convincing to bring it back together again. The camera stunt in the end looked reasonably safe, worst case, if you had sprained your ankle jumping down, maybe the dozer would have done some solo landscaping :D
I suppose there is a Cat tool for reassembling a track but Andrew, in his usual inimitable way McGivered it successfully...as we all have come to expect.

I liked your repair on the idler but will you quit jumping off your dozer with it moving. One slip and your injured or killed. I have grown to liking your recordings and want you to be around to make more.
Andrew, I agree with all the others here. If it is at all possible, can you repost this in real time. Breaking down and reattaching tracks is a subject for a rather tough project at times. Thank you
Need advice, I hit a VERY large boulder while grading a leech field. Popped the track off , got it back on, but now it won’t tension with grease. It looks like the rail is slightly bent to the right front. If I bent the piston arm to the front track roller, would this be why it won’t tension ?
hi just a question … as something as big and made of metal ,, instead of changing could metal be added on lit to bring back to its original size ...and if you change on one side should you change on the other side as well to have uniformity.,,,
Definitely. You can add weld material, then use a lathe/milling machine to bring back to original sizes. It takes a looooong time though, and sometimes your time is worth more than new parts. When the parts needed are made of unobtanium, it may well be your only option.
Never liked time lapse videos, I miss too much. They also preclude comments and make your videos shorter than they should be.. Still a thumbs up of course
Andrew your viewers I think would rather you make a regular video. They are much more interesting when you talk about what you are doing as you repair equipment and work on your jobs. Just my opinion.
For people working alone or a very small group must at times risk injury. It's just something they know and accept. I know this because I and a brother did that type of work same as Andrew in Aussie The reward is the ability to not having to work for the man. We have a free life. Andrews jump was nothing, he judged and saw the danger as very little. And he was right.
How do I get this track back together??? Looks at youtube videos while on camera.... aha! Cranks it together.... heh heh heh!!!! Just like us homegamers.....
Andrew, take more care with your back brother when it hurts so bad you can’t move it’s too late. A shop crane from harbor freight cost less than 200 bucks! You are real smart but be wise too!
I think it's hard to find music for free. Many are available but the "quality" is all over the map. It takes a lot of time to search for music, listen to clips. After long editing sessions all you want is to upload the darn thing and get on with the next repair. Finding music to add to it just takes too long. Sometimes you get lemonade, sometimes lemons.

I know I shouldn't be after watching his videos, but he never fails to amaze me
Awesome job 👏 ANDREW THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR SKILLS AND COMMENTS WITH YOUR AUDIENCE
You are so darn smart to know how to move stuff It is mouth dropping to see you do your repaires!!!89
World's first Bulldozer Maintenance Rave. Only thing missing is a glow necklace for Levi.

If only they were all that fast, Another Great Job !
Glad you added the overhead crane/ hoist if this ever happens again, good call.👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Every tanker's favorite activity--reconnecting track links :)
USMC 1811 M60A1 tanker here. Been there... done that many times!
If i hadnt seen it with my own eyes i would never have believed this could be done in 3:44
I wouldn’t want to do that job all day.Great video.👍👍
The music reminds me of my late teens and early twenties.....I'm glad I'm older now🤭🤭🤭

Yeah, I feel like its a little safer on the dozer, not stepping directly in front of a while doing it.

Nice beats!!!!!
I wished I had 1/10th of your talent
I wish i had 1/10 of his energy
Me too and I would work for Andrew for free just to Learn from the best in my opinion
I don't know if I'd call it talent. It's a perfect mix of high IQ and work ethic. Amazing to see those two together in the same person
Nice action-footage at the end
Looks like it took a bit of convincing to bring it back together again. The camera stunt in the end looked reasonably safe, worst case, if you had sprained your ankle jumping down, maybe the dozer would have done some solo landscaping :D
you have come along way mister......and the best way....yours

Andrew, I wish you had this video in the entire length with regular speed. Can you upload that today? Or is it deleted?
Music: slowing down
Me: "Don't slow down; Andrew is still going full speed! Oh wait, he got a text..."
Great video 💪😎

When he's old maybe, but right now he can do the dance so save it for another 30 years.
He did not have his purse with him that day so it was ok to do it....
i bet you sleep very well at night..that is if you ever quit working to sleep!
I don't think Andrew ever sleeps, he is the most productive man I've ever seen!
Cool music.. in any disco should be performed a dozer repair on dancefloor
Amazing, is there anything that you can’t or won’t do. You are very talented in this field of work !
Thanks
Great video, but I miss the narration of the later clips. Is there anything you cant fix? I really dont think so.
Have to agree that this would of been a lot better with the narration. I have become very interested in your repairing your machines...
He cannot mend a broken heart. He will learn this later, as do we all.
Andrew, I agree with all the others here. If it is at all possible, can you repost this in real time. Breaking down and reattaching tracks is a subject for a rather tough project at times. Thank you
This is old, I might have filmed it in time lapse mode. There are new jobs to watch.

Look at it, something is happening somewhere.
Nice idler
How hard would it be to set up a trolley hoist? Or do you have one I missed?
man of too many talents! That's a new one...lol
Great video! Thanks for sharing!

i'm surprised Andrew didn't make the wheel out of an left over roof beams and some rebar....
OSHA approved mount n dismount!
I don’t see what’s wrong looks like it came from the factory like that. Jk great job on the fix
Ball bearing are no more there !!! Heavy job muscles and be very careful for fingers and hands !!! Yes an other work to be done !
I didn't see Levi doing an inspection.
Anybody know how to find out bolt torque specs on a case tv370 front track idler wheel?
The repair manual. Or just slam it on with an impact wrench.

What was the actual time?
That was a while ago, maybe 4 hrs. I cant remember.
I got a Case 850 track loader that needs new front idlers. Wanna come fix them. I got good music.
Camarata magic!
Liquid Todd did the soundtrack?
I think this is something I downloaded from Napster, like in the early 2000's
How do I get this track back together???
Looks at youtube videos while on camera.... aha!
Cranks it together.... heh heh heh!!!!
Just like us homegamers.....
Song name?
song plz
I didn't know they made self-driving dozers sure
It's a Tesla special.
oh yes rave music
Nice
me too...would like to see the video in a normal speed..
Yeah, if I did this job today, I would film it different.

So that's what an idler is, I'll have to tell the wife I am nothing like one when she calls me that.
lol great music
D4 you can just lift the tracks on. The bigger dozers you ain't gonna do that.
you have come sutch a long way in the videos andrew.. this was a bit meh. still okey but nothing near your standards :D
I have the same dozer
MR FIXIT!
Another good one, but the music was dreadful. Lets have silence, please.

I really like watching your videos. But watching you get out of the machin wile its runing makes me cring. Stay safe .
I'm sure if he didn't trust himself to jump off a 1.5mph moving object, I doubt he would have taken that risk 😂
@@hvguy its not getting off, its the getting back on 1 slip or foot caught you are dragged under the track
@@georgeh9967 1.5mph.... are you that worried?
Spelling mistakes make me cringe.
I know someone to jump off the machine and I ran over there bloody foot so you be careful
People have gotten hurt in any situation imaginable.
Does an Indiana Jones at the end.
Nice Kitty (CAT) : )
try doing it on a old 1965 Cat D4D
I Think i hate connecting tracks more than anything.
Yeah, it wasn't that bad on this machine with that master link. Its pretty hard on a machine where you have to drive a pin in.
Ghost ride the whip
I know why bearings went out.
Why
Bangin CHoon
Repair your own equip. so much...you ought to hire yourself. Where would we be w/o those videoes. Take care.
I enjoy watching your videos but not liking the music rather you explain what your doing more
This is an old one. The new ones have much less music.
I really liked the music here
Without the music plz😘
This is an old video. The new ones are better.
@@AndrewCamarata Just found your channel, and love watching you do amazing stuff! New ones better indeed✌️ greeting from Norway
Music has got to go! Lol
Maybe slow it down and actually talk about it as your doing it
Not a big fan of nonstop time laspe video with no explanation of what you are doing! #AC
This is a really old one. The videos have changed since then.
Thoroughly enjoy your videos, hate the shitty repetitious music.
ALSO PLEASE LOOSE THE LOUSEY MUSIC
Loved video, but the music was techno crap. Stick with screamin guitars and thumpin bass.
And right at the end of the video is the reason idiots get themselves killed or badly injured while jumping off a moving machine, VERY SILLY.
Thumbs down by doing something so stupid and dangerous like jumping off that dozer while in motion. Great video otherwise.
hate the music
Music sucks.
Random Guy so does your sister
@@supertrooper7403
So does your brother.
