James C. Lynch Conspiracy theory confirmed! You never see Tim Burton and Nic Cage in the same place at the same time. Now wonder Cage was gonna be Superman at one point: Burton wishes he was the man of steel.
I think I only saw part of that movie... But there was a youtube made version of it by the same title that was hilarious. I almost pissed myself laughing at the fact Tim has actually seen that porno. Oh my god... lol
Worth noting that the most infamous set piece for the backgrounds in Edward Penishands was a plasterboard-sized Trident gum wrapper mounted to the family room wall at an angle. Also, they pirated Phoebe Cates' "Just One Touch" from the movie "Private School" for the BGM of the last scene.
How interesting the host talked about Tim's hair on first meeting him, and Johnny Depp his first impression of Tim was mention about how crazy his hair was and then how tired he look?
When I got to know about the porno parody, I got, like, so freaking mad, since I'm a big fan of Tim's earlier works and I love Edward Scissorhands really much. But seeing Tim's attitude towards the parody in this video... People really should stop calling him dark. He just... Isn't.
I like Conan as a show personality, but these type of hosts obviously are not for introverted people like Tim. He is obviously very uncomfortable, barely making eye contact, not amused by Conan's condescending jokes. I guess that is why he hasn't revisited Conan's show.
TheJDfairy I agree. I still like them both and I also did notice that Tim was somewhat shy when interviewing Conan. But at least Tim was still doing his best to stay confident and relaxed. Besides he’s a great director but also his characters are great role models to most people, despite their weird and quirky mannerisms.
EDWARD PENISHANDS😂😂😂.. I LOVE TIM BURTON SO FUCKING MUCH. THAT MAN IS AN FANTASTIC DIRECTOR AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HIS WORK. THE MOVIES THAT HE HAS MADE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME.
i wonder if he had known johnny depp at the time if burton would have had him as beetlejuice instead of michael keaton. and why did keaton not work with burton again?
After seeing the Netflix show “Movies That Made Us” with the “Nightmare Before Christmas” episode I look at Tim Burton differently. I though he didn’t roll like a lot of Hollywood ppl because of how weird he is but nope. They called his entourage “The Burtonettes” lol. A group of ppl following him around the studio all talking at once. Then he kicked a hole in the wall haha. If you haven’t watched it I recommend it for sure.
He’s apparently on the autism spectrum, on high functioning,he has very limited interests in particular subjects, such as goth , horror and the macabre. he likes to work with the same people, Johnny and Helena. And he’s able to use unique artistic perspective to create some of the most popular movies of all time.
Moral of tim burton’s bio: Never underestimate an autistic person, it’s a spectrum, not a disability. Similarly to how a person’s sexuality nowadays is considered to be a vast spectrum.
I love Tim Burton. When I first saw Batman in theaters, I was 11, I knew then, ok, I'm gonna be like him...a director..welp it's 2018 and I will do it!
I remember renting Edward Penishands on VHS when I was a junior in high school. To this day, it may have been the greatest decision of my life.
whats it like being 18 in junior high?
He has such a cute laugh ☺️
He has the most adorable little giggle.
Sleepy Hollow might be my favorite Burton movie. So underrated.
yeah, it's great. not sure why it doesn't get much love.
I loved Tim’s films. Sleepy Hollow was great too. 9 year old me was horrified by Christopher Walken in the film though.
Tim Burton is brilliant, his movies are so enjoyable and never boring.
-except for his "remake" of Alice in Wonderland-
-except for every "remake" he directed this century-
He looks like Nicholas Cage with a hangover
+Andrew Tornadoboy I can never look at Tim Burton the same way again now. XD
+Andrew Tornadoboy
He still looks like that too, just older and not as smiley.
Nick Cage is always hungover though.
You mean regular Nicolas Cage
James C. Lynch
Conspiracy theory confirmed! You never see Tim Burton and Nic Cage in the same place at the same time. Now wonder Cage was gonna be Superman at one point: Burton wishes he was the man of steel.
“you don’t set out to be an outcast somehow society has a way of putting you in that”
Tim Burton is so awsome

He kinda comes off like a stoner, doesnt he?
Never thought his style was dark. More eccentric if anything
@@johnbernal7996 I would say it is 'dark' in the sense of being 'macabre', but not in the sense of being 'pesimistic' or 'edgy'.

What are you talking about? They had a funny conversation and neither one of them seemed to be particularly uncomfortable.

You're not that good at reading body language then.
Yes, that must be it. You're completely right and amazing at everything you do in life.

They look so young!
4:42 Nicholas Cage would be perfect if they ever did a bio-pic of Burton.
Ah 90's humor.
@Nightmare1398 Yeah I mean at least back then you could actually JOKE with people.
EDWARD PENISHANDS😂😂😂.. I LOVE TIM BURTON SO FUCKING MUCH. THAT MAN IS AN FANTASTIC DIRECTOR AND I WILL ALWAYS LOVE HIS WORK. THE MOVIES THAT HE HAS MADE ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES OF ALL TIME.
I only just noticed the title halfway in wtf
I agree with Tim. Kids love getting scared.
2:35 why you came here :|
I've seen a lot of interviews of him and almost everyone asks him about being an outcast. I wonder if he ever gets tired of talking about it.
Edward Penishands eats spaghetti:

I want to see this movie so badly
How does one get Spike Spiegel hair
thanks khail
I wasn't the only one xD
A very great filmmaker who must have gotten quite a kick out of the absurd adult mockbuster version of one of his great films.
i wonder if he had known johnny depp at the time if burton would have had him as beetlejuice instead of michael keaton. and why did keaton not work with burton again?
They now made Dumbo together
I just watched the actual porn, I'm horrified, disgusted and laughing
His hair reminds me of Charlie Kaufman.
What is the song name
I know about this film thanks to Charlie Brooker.
What's with the guy on the left?
Ameen Makanvand That's Andy Richter. He's kinda Conan's co-pilot.
+Ameen Makanvand His job is just to sit there.

With the low angled and flitting eye contact definitely

3:37 *Stoppppp why does he reminds me of Chalamet 💀✋🏻 the way he's so awkward and giggly I love him*
