ive owned an 8 speed hellcat, 10 speed 5.0, Gti, 2 6 speed camaro SS, and 2 manual Zl1s. the Zl1 is by far my favorite. i daily it and it drives so good, handling is absolutely perfect, and it sounds so good.
It’s even crazier in the 10 speed in performance mode. You can be beating the car up and down speeds, and the car just keeps up and down shifting like crazy. Great for road courses.

I wish you’d have driven it more aggressively…just once or twice. I felt like I was with an old lady driver. In my LT1 I like to occasionally ease off from a creep in first gear then hit the accelerator hard but not hard enough to lose control, then bang second up to 60 or 70 then back off. That gives me all the thrill I need without getting into too much trouble!

love that you do a lot of downshifting when coming to a stop, so we can hear that beautiful rev match feature. however, during actual normal daily driving, it's probably wiser to use your brakes a bit more, since brake pads are cheaper than a new clutch (if all you ever do is engine brake).
My last car was a black 2018 ZL1. Looked great after being washed but didn’t stay that way long. It was a monster to drive but was also a dust magnet. Traded it for a red 2021 C8 which stays clean much longer.
A Camaro is one of my dreams car ever since I was young I’m 13 and when I’m old enough to work that’s what I’m working for I’m starting to save up money so I can buy thing when I’m older

When u get on the accelerator before u know it u doing 100 plus MPH....I know first hand because I just bought a 2021 ZL1 with 1LE with the 6.2 supercharger and I hit over 125 mph on the interstate and didn't even realize it until I looked at my speed....
My dream car right now is a Camaro ss 1LE wanna make it a track car so i will be getting the camaro ZL1 1LE front bumper because it’s more aero dynamic with a APR wing and then a whipple down the road
The issue I don't like about the ZL1 is the supercharger whine 💯. This why I like the SS 1LE much better 💯. It has that angry 😡😡 sound like the stingray corvette 💯💯

(I'm 5'7") Anyway, the supercharger whine reminds me of the engine sound they used for the DeLorean in BttF, I like it!
Little late here but yes you definitely get used to it. Though it still is not great. Seeing how close you are to curbs is a real issue in the front, and obviously massive blind spots. It’s definitely not so bad it’s not daily able or something though.
Kid. Do the world a favor and go get yourself a 4cyl honda civic. Learn how to drive that first and maybe 10 yrs later MAYBE think about getting one of these cars. The 5 oclock news has made a fortune off kids like you.
Was this a five speed or did he just not use sixth? I know the stock trans have a long sixth and isn’t good for accelerations or something. I can’t remember.

Glad it's in manual. I've almost traded my car in a couple of times for one a zl1 and a zl1 1le but never bit the bullet.

Love the smooth shifting, I have an Ecoboost mustang 6M and the rev hang is horrible which makes it nearly impossible to shift smoothly.

The car has a roto-fab intake. However, it is the one that doesn't require a tune so no horsepower gain, just more sound!
The main thing that turn me 📴 about the ZL1 is the supercharger wine. This why SS would be my choice to purchase between the two models 😀

It’s a six speed...he just didn’t use 6th...sixth gear is an overdrive gear so you’re correct on that part👍🏽
