I love it, but know it has a learning curve! Since making this video, I have had no more issues. Here is the original build and maiden flight video. • I'm scared to try to f... My suggestion for this bird is to do alot more daylight take offs and get the really feel for it before ever going out at night with it. It may take time but once you can do it consistent in day light you will have it in your mind to do it in night much better. Just my advice. and thanks again Dave.👍👍👍👍👍
Well, I flew it many times and had no problem with it in the daylight flights, as I showed in my first video on this. ua-cam.com/video/Vppg6IDX5tI/v-deo.html But since it is designed to fly in the dark, that is why I did this. I only made this video to show what can happen, no matter how good a pilot you are. My flights have all been fine since, as I have flown it about 16 times now. Thanks for the suggestion. Practice always makes perfect.
Nice job, sir! The King of ALL RC Mods flies again! 😂 Semper Fi.
Right on. Thanks Scott, and Semper Fi.
URP ✊🤝
That’s awesome! Now you have it figured out..time to add an OS .20fs :)
Haha. Like that Idea, but not all the fuel on the sail. Thanks.
Love this. Thanks!
Thanks so kindly!
Stick mod is brilliant.
LOL. Thanks.

Calling this type of RC plane a real ''Pain in the A$$'' would be a understatment Dave🤣🤣 But thankfully you was able to fly it despite all of those crashes to finally get up and flying in to the dark skies a very fantastic flight indeed Dave looking foward to seeing your 1/2A size Flying Saucer Cox .049 flight 👍👍😎😎👍👍
@@3DMOFO2020 I was lucky on the maiden, but there IS a learning curve for sure. Thanks much. I appreciate you. Happy Flying ~ Dave
Yeah.... Tree Bad. If you put some small Light Barriers (Black Cardboard or Plastic) in front and back of the upper light strips it would stop the glare in front and back of the Paramotor and only shine up to the Wing.
Yes, I have been working on that along with adding more red lights to aim out the rear. Thanks.
A Successful Paramotor Flight: A Prayer & A Para-Wing, When der Dave the NightFlyyer walks away with all his fingers..! Oorah, Bud
It is always on my mind!. LOL Thanks Bud.
I agree, that’s way too much white for night flying. On my V1 I have 3 white LEDs on the front, three each red and green on the top of the fan shroud at 10 and 2 oclock position and blue on back. It does have the white strings which helps but the lights on top light the canopy red and green respectively for orientation.
Right on. I'm with you. I wonder why they changed to black strings on my V2? Thanks and happy flying.
Sure looks cool all lit up!
Thanks a lot, Doug!
You think it would fly with a partial horizontal stabilizer or fixed wing to assist with lift &/or maneuvering?
I dont know. My friend has a real one, and not sure how that would work. Good question.
I wish I could fly mine
What's the issue?
you think a heavier wheel in the front might work?
That could add some weight for sure. Ill look into that. Thanks.
@@NightFlyyer How about filling the front tyre with lead/steel shot? Fairly easily adjustable, and you can get a good amount of weight in there. I have the v1 and in my experience, these paramotors fly best when a lot heavier than you'd expect.
@@siggy101 Yes, I saw the difference when I used a 2800 lipo vs the 5000 lipo. I like the lead shot idea. Thanks much.
