I just found this (9/27/2024) and watched your 5 year old video wondering how well it lasted, Luckily I found this video and now know the answer to that question. LOL I am going to have to get one of these! BTW I was searching for a FlySky surface radio and Traxxas trx4m parts... just goes to show how easily I get side tracked. LOL
Thanks so much for the video... Makes it very clear... A bit annoyed by the comments of people who want the exact configuration of their specific Tx... Mmmmm guys it's a hobby... On the other hand i fly kite surf wings, and a lot of gliders and i think it's gonna help me with launching and flying this model... All the other vids of the V2 I've watched I feel like most owners try to fly it like a plane... It's not... It's a wing !!! You fly this with a pinch of this and a pinch of that... You use the down wind up wind a lot... Bunch of cave men 😅... Anyways thanks again for taking the time and energy to make this vid
Good morning, I purchased it but I have problems with the setting of my transmitter, can you make a video explaining how the spektrum NX transmitter series should be programmed? (I have the NX8) Thank you
Okay doing your servo setup and travel setting. I can achieve your action to accomplish. However my brake as pulling down the arms go up. I've tried reversing. Swapping leads around while still the same results. Far as the left and right throws shown in the video are spot on. I'm using a IX14. I will still currently be trying to figure this out. If I do I will do a reply here if I succeeded or not.
Thanks for your help. I appreciate it. I got it. I had in settings Elevon B. As soon as I changed it to just Elevon. Brakes works now Thanks again. 8 hrs working on this but got it ! I guess I’ll do a maiden late this afternoon
I thought this was a great build video. I watched the v1 build ,but this one was better. I might have to buy one. The first one scared me. This one not so much. Thanks. Lets go fly.
I just got mine to work with the dx6e when you first setup model use elevon B then plug in the right servo to the aileron channel 2 and plug in the left servo to elevator channel 3 throttle on channel 1 then go to servo setup and go to reverse aileron channel and reverse elevator channel now in servo setup go to travel and choose RAL make the top number 0 the bottom number 100 then choose LAL make the top number 100 and the bottom number 0. No mixing required I know it works on my Spektrum dx6e I hope it works for you my Friend. Shanon Rc OutLaw UA-cam channel.
Wouldn't it be better to mount the zip ties from the inside of the propeller ring so there is less possibility that the lines might become stuck on them ?
Hi John thanks for the info iv brought one but im struggling to trim it at the moment im hand fly to make sure the kite goes out well but its going to the left to much and then I a just it it goes to much to the right I followed your instructs on the video but still can get it. Can you do like a mini video of the trimming please would be a great help. I only have a turnigy rc 6 channel remote. Thank you
Hi, what does it do that needs trimming? Goes left or right? Move the knot on the brake string closer to the wing a little bit at a time until you can get it to go straight. If your radio doesnt have trims
Hi, I'm assembling the paramotor v2 now but I can't align the servo arms, how did you do it? I'm trying not to force the arms to insert them so as not to ruin the plastic thread but if I align them the thread doesn't match...
Hi John, Greetings from New Zealand. Great to see your model set up for the V2 Paramotor. I still have and fly V1 model. I followed your Spektrum radio set up for it and its worked perfectly well for me. Was wanting to ask how you find the V2 wing copes in more turbulent or stronger wind situations? I found with the V1 wing would sometimes collapse or deflate when there was turbulence or stronger wind. I found I could recover from it if I pulled on the brake lines and the wing would reinflate. I bought a replacement wing for my one from a company in China called RC Castle . It works very well and is less prone to collapse. Are you located in Oregon USA? Why I ask is in some of your videos I see what looks like Mt Hood in the background. Ive visited Oregon twice and its so beautiful, much like New Zealand. Phillip Keelan
Would you be kind enough to share a link to that wing you bought? I may need it that is always some type of wind here about 5 mph even at the time I could try it out without being sleepy giving effort for such. Wind here normally 3 to 6 mph right a sun rise and same at sun down or stronger.
@@JohnVHRC yeah I know a battery is a battery. just find in interesting that everything on the box and and sticker indicates ground vehicle. Incidentally you list ths battery above as 6S yet the lnk is for the Ovonic 3S 5000mah battery.

The manuals to everything HK sells is on the page you order from. Under the manuals/files tab.
It’s not a wing. It is a Chute!
It's a ppg wing, not a ppc chute. There is a difference. Chutes are more rectangular with 90deg corners. The ppg wings are of a foil wing profile.😊
