- Shear Connector Studs are designed to tie the concrete slab to the steel beams and to resist shear loadings between the concrete slab and steel beam in composite construction. This enables us to load up to 1000 kg/m² instead of the usual load which is much less. The procedure saves time and therefore money as well due to its simplicity. Stud Welders are used for this process.

If we are not available a stud welding machine then can we replace the stud bolt to a simple plain rod

The stud welding shall be tested using a hammer or any hollow device by bending 30° from the axes on both side. Stud welding is considered acceptable if it fails not on the haz or weld.

Can we use deck sheet after rcc casting
or removal of deck sheet compulsory or not ?
The Deck sheet is permanent fixing in the base of RCC concrete itself and does not need to be removed. In a way, concrete gets extra support like this
the machine is too big and RSN7-2000 inverter stud welding machine is enough for welding deck shear studs. And also no any small problems for the machine. Machine weight is only 90kgs.
Can we use a simple welding machine for shear stud bolt
Can't because the Deck sheets gets hot and burns.
