Have your shipping supplies organized and prepared before you sell. I have found this reduces the time I spend when selling on eBay. If you are selling slabbed comics and potential multiple slabs to one person, you can fit two or three well protected slabs into a medium flat rate postal box.
I’ve been posting my comic collection on IG for a couple of months now. I love the community there and it’s been a very positive experience. Recently, I’ve been considering parting with some of my multiples and this video couldn’t have come at a better time. Thanks for the valuable information 😁
Great tips man. I’ve definitely followed pretty much all of these and it’s been great over on IG. I’d say the only thing that doesn’t hurt to gain a little more followers, especially when you’re starting out is through giveaways. I’m surprised you didn’t talk about this considering you’re one of the most generous within the community. I remember finding your page through a giveaway and I’ve been hooked ever since!
Still new to IG. This video was very helpful. It will take me a while to get my group of hashtag lists together but I’m committed to building up my presence online!
Wow thank you!!! This has been so enlightening Bry’s Comics!!! Awesome video As a 44-year-old man who’s been out of the loop and recently re-entering the comic book world this video is tremendously helpful thank you so much!
Hafa adai Bry! Another Awesome Video with Valuable Content! I appreciate your Kindness posting this Video specifically. Looking forward to connecting soon. Enjoy The Chase! IslandJ
Doing my homework to find ways to engage in the hobby (newer collector) and make casual sales etc. Super helpful video and really appreciate how honest you were with how things work and the emphasis on not being "a piece of garbage". lol
Awesome and relevant tips bro. You're right it takes time and dedication to grow you content and following. Right I've got a bunch of books that I'm slowly putting on ebay and paying their fees coz it's convenient. I hope one day I have a big boy presence like yours on IG.
Great video Bry! Love the “piece of garbage” comment. I’m from Canada and have been using FB mostly for purchasing books. I will have to explore Instagram more thoroughly now. Later.
Great knowledge you have thanks for spreading your wisdom. I hope to get my collection sold and the information I have gotten from you helps me considerably. Thank you.
@@BrysComics I have multiple copies of asm#300, I worked at Mile high comics, as a grader back in the eighties. Trying to get $ to get CGC grading. This is my retirement ...I really appreciate you. I wish you continued success and ever increasing knowledge and wisdom.
Perfect timing for this subject! An elderly neighbor just gifted me 3 long boxes this afternoon. 2 were all Valiant books, the other all Marvel... first appearances of Sabertooth, Gamora, Gambit, Rogue, Pip The Troll, and so much more...
@@BrysComics that’s what I said! Some of those books I’ve never seen in real life before until now. I also found a Hulk 182 in there. Lots of Fantastic 4 from the 70’s and 80’s. Carnage’s 1st, 2nd and 3rd appearance. All kinds of good stuff
Thank you for the video, its very helpful. Question- I have an IG account. Should I or can I set one up to sell comics, cards and other memorabilia from my PC? Thanks again.
Something I've been wanting to look into for sure. I was unsure of payment handling etc with a media without a built in payment system if that makes sense
Just got up to 300 followers and I’m trying my best to sell on IG. It’s a little hard to break the ice but I’ve made some trades and sent a few A ok’s but I’m going to keep pushing.
I still haven't signed up for Instagram, but I want to. It's a good thing I've been hoarding more than I've been selling recently! But I do need to start selling a lot of my collection. It's becoming a problem.
What if you already have an insta where you post action figures? Is it a good idea to just merge comics with the action figures account? Thanks for the tips Bryce!
I am now organizing my comic, collection, I have about 7-8 long comic boxes full. I have been selling collectible action figures on ebay and mercari. It never dawned on me to consider using instragram. But, the idea of having to get followers, is not something i'd look forward to doing.
I just started UA-cam and Instagram this week, made my first two horrible reveal videos, of cgc and a psa. lol... one thing before I keep going, should I start over not using my own name on UA-cam? And think of a cool channel? Name... also should the name be a LLC? I’m thinking about getting the resellers tax Id. Any info would be awesome
It’s always good to begin with the end in mind. Where do you want to be in 5 years with it? Work back from there. What did people you’re emulating do? You don’t have to start over you can simply change the name. And yes the first dozen videos will be pretty awful, that’s all part of it!
Thank you for that comment!!! I don’t collect my husband does but when I see these people who charge outrageous prices! Gross, taking advantage of something.. one word KARMA!
Facebook just recently kicked me off - I was hacked and no under review- I was easily able to sell comics and had a great relationship with others in the community. Now I have to start another app. This sounds like starting over. ☹️
I don't get instagram at all. I tried it once. Reminded me of flipping through magazines in a waiting room staring at images your not interested in. Hey, I love comics but I'm not interested in looking at comic related images on my phone from strangers, at all. You realise the internet has porn, right?
GREAT video. Next on my personal to-do list is getting my Instagram account created, getting highly active there, and eventually down the road getting my 300+ newly graded books out for sale, with a big focus on using Instagram as a main option. Looking forward to connecting with you on IG soon. Nice work.
Very well done! Long time collector just recently joined IG. Opened up whole new avenues. Able to trade for a couple of silver age keys that I otherwise would not have the purchased from a eBay. Still trying to master the hashtag thing! Fortunately no one is judgmental so far on IG.
The short cut for the hastags is an awesome tip! Thanks
Learned a lot from your video.... I will give this a try... As always, words of wisdom... 🙏🙏🙏👍
Great video. Thanks for the tips. I am an old guy who doesn’t know anything about Instagram. This was very helpful.
Great video. Ive been lurking at some claim sales trying to see how it works. Thanks for posting this.

Very helpful advice. Thanks Bry !
GREAT VIDEO! Thanks for this Bry!
Perfect timing... been wanting to sell more on IG.
I never realized the value of hashtags and how to benefit from them. Thx !

Thank you for making this video. It has good information!
Great tips! Never sold/bought anything on Instagram, I may just consider it now!
Good stuff. Always wonder on how to start buy/sell on Instagram.
Thanks Bry, getting ready to sell books on IG and this was an awesome no frills video!
Thanks a lot for the solid tips. Very interesting.
Thanks for a peak behind the curtain of selling comics.
Great tips for the people who are new to this community. Let’s keep the good vibes going.

Great video, thanks so much for the information!
What an informative video. Thanks so much for your insight. Even my kids couldn't help me with the hashtags issues I was having.
Lmao
Awesome How To Video Man! I started the Instagram page but yet to post. I feel a little more confident now. Thanks!

Great video, I've not really been using Instagram to my advantage in this hobby, definitely time to look more into it.
Interesting video, some great content! 👍🏻
Love those tips, have a great Tuesday brother
Great video man, thank you so much, some great tips. Looking to sell some of my collection, to help fund the transition to collected editions.
Great advice Bry! Your tips are very helpful

Just started an Instagram because of this video! Thanks BRY!

Great video! Simply perfect
Super helpful. Thank you.
Cool you answered some of the questions on selling comic books I've had on my mind lately.
Yeah this was very informative. Much appreciated Bry.
Great knowledge you have thanks for spreading your wisdom. I hope to get my collection sold and the information I have gotten from you helps me considerably. Thank you.
Or you can just sell
It to me 😜 jk I’ll
Always get more if you put in the work, GL!

This was great Bry! This was extremely insightful 👏👌👍
Great video , very informative. On a side note my account was the one you pulled up during the video .. my son and dog are now famous 🤣👍
Such a cool picture! You must have just followed me while I was filming the video lol

As always helping out the community, well done Bry 🤛👍🔥
Well done once again, Bryan! Thank you for tbe valuable content ;)
I've sold a couple of things on IG, but these are great points, some of which I wouldn't have thought of.
Thank you!! Learned somethings
This video is a must!!!!
Thank you for that hashtag tip !
Well I’m convinced. Time to move my lots to Insta.
Great vid as usual..speaking of claim sale I'm ready for the next round of yours the first one was alot of fun
Hopefully before the end of the month!
Great timing on this video, boss.
Been waiting on this should be a good one thanks
Thanks man I'm gonna give this a try.
Good stuff. I haven't been very successful selling on IG yet, but it seems I need to tweak some things.
Incredibly helpful and enlightening - thank you. Have you also done a video for setting up a UA-cam channel and how that got started for you?
No because only a handful of people would be interested in that from my audience...
Insta is for sure the best platform for selling... the nice thing is if you have alot of sellers, shopping is easy as scrolling down.
I'll keep these useful tips in mind.
Great tips man!
Great tips!
Thank you for the video, its very helpful. Question- I have an IG account. Should I or can I set one up to sell comics, cards and other memorabilia from my PC? Thanks again.
Yeah it is usually helpful to have a separate collectibles account…
Something I've been wanting to look into for sure. I was unsure of payment handling etc with a media without a built in payment system if that makes sense
Yeah you kinda gotta find a workaround...
Great post
Good tips
I'll definitely follow your Instagram for sharing again
Bro, you have to put the letter order for the next claim sale in your newsletter! Give me a chance to memorize that shit in advance 😂😂
Bahahahah!!
Great video. 👊
#bryforpresident 😀 great info and good tips for newbies starting out 👍🏼

That’s the name of the game, it takes time for sure
I always thought that 5 or 6 #s was enough...I was dead wrong lol.

Always good to have stuff coming in and going out...cuz yeah otherwise I would be buried!!
I really want to get on Instagram.. but I have really no interest in people following me I just want to buy some comics is that possible on Instagram.
Absolutely. I highly recommend it!
What if you already have an insta where you post action figures? Is it a good idea to just merge comics with the action figures account? Thanks for the tips Bryce!
I think they are related enough that you could do it,..
Is there any good groups I can follow I don't really know any people that like comics.
I'm new to this. Maybe your video will help me.
Intro voice reminds me of Joe Rogan Experience :)
Thanks

Hopefully this month!
I might have to give insta a go. eBay leaves me feeling abused on both ends of the sale, lol
No kidding me too...
Facebook just recently kicked me off - I was hacked and no under review- I was easily able to sell comics and had a great relationship with others in the community. Now I have to start another app. This sounds like starting over. ☹️
Literally just created a instagram account just for this
👍💯
