I would like it if they didn’t make it so you’re military would bankrupt you at the very start of the game and some more of the stats had better explanation.
if u start off neither as usa or china: only build infantry, reservists up to 25%, commandos and guners up to 40%. save a bit extra money over time until u can recruit one batch of 50% tanks. thats the most efficient way. dont recruit small percentages of vehicles, as they are very inefficient at lower rates respectivly. by the time when you can actually buy planes and helis, you got the infinite money glitch (wealth funds) anyways, where money doesnt matter anymore.

If you’re playing a top 10 nation, I’ve had a lot of success just selling off the entire military instantly and focusing on your economy in the start of the game. I played Brazil and I didn’t use my military until I was top two and like 200 years later. I am a little new though i’m still trying to work it out.
so basically you have a system where the recruiting will happen all the time if you spend money in it, you don't have to spend your time recruiting an army, you let it in the background as you do whatever you're intrested in doing

I do think some of the hate is unwarranted. But there are a lot of aspects of the new update that don’t feel like they got a lot of thought put into them and just make the game take way longer. I don’t want to play hoi4 I suck at that. A lot of the update I genuinely like but the game needs some more explanation and better pacing.
