Great video. FYI- Bonded leather is actually a mix of both real and fake leather. It is made from the leftover scraps and fibers made from processing genuine leather mixed with a polyurethane binder. These fibers are then rolled together using adhesives to bond them onto a paper backing. Some manufacturers may add an additional coating of polyurethane to the bonded leather and emboss it so it has the texture of real leather. Most bonded leather is comprised of only 10-20% genuine leather.
It’s great that bibles are being made more Durable and long-lasting. I remember when bibles were made that would fall apart in 3 or 4 months. Thanks for another great video
Genuine leather Bible cover uses a one whole piece of leather. Bonded leather is produced using the small pieces of leather, probably the leftover from the manufacturing process, and compressed them to form one piece of 'bonded' leather. You can 'Google' this. To me, bonded leather is as good as genuine leather in terms of its durability. However, there are different grades of genuine leather and bonded leather. So I guess my experience cannot be generalised too much.
Received one of these for an early birthday present today . It is beautiful and amazing. I also received the Single Column Wide Margin with 2020 update text as well. Both wonderful Bibles with bonded leather! Probably the cost of both were still less than the cost of one of the goatskin premium Bibles. II
I don’t like center column references. I feel that they take up too much room from where the text should be. Plus at 65 my eyes need at least a size 10 on the text and I like the wide margins.
Excellent review! This Bible has a beautiful layout, font and color scheme. I would love to see it in a verse by verse, single column format à la the 316 Publishing LSB. Thank you so much!🙋🏼♂️📖 P.S. Your appreciation of well produced boxes is commendable. (As opposed to some who rudely toss them away ove their shoulder.🤔😊) A nice box makes a good home for your Bible when not in use.
You wouldn't be talking about that other Bible reviewer who's also named Tim and has a lot of tattoos now, would you? 😂 To be fair, I don't think he tosses the actual box the Bibles come in. I think he tosses the cardboard boxes the mail carrier sends them in.
I like the sort of wide margins to offset the text. Verse by verse I'd good for study. CSB 2020 update ? is becoming my favourite..NASB 95 would be good also. I like references at bottom if gives more space in text.
@@M-JACOY That is an excellent price! I still use mine nearly every week. The cover still looks great. The paper is premium, so for $28.00 it is an absolute steal. I may order some for my pastors. They are that good!

Well, since it is vinyl paste down liner , then it sounds very hopeful. Tim , thank you for showing these CSB bibles. Closing the LifeWay store “ may” have been an economic issue. But for consumers of bibles, the only way for the csb translation to survive is for video reviews and for the last remaining bible brick and mortar store( Mardel) to actually have this bible available. Otherwise, LifeWay may have done themselves a great disservice by Rifting 1700 employees without batting an eye.
I would really appreciate if you would stop tempting me to love every bible you review!, 🤣🤣🤣 just sayin’ 😬 Would it be too much to ask that you end Bible reviews with the following..... Mollie, you don’t need this Bible. 😳😃🤪
I just got mine in the mail. It is amazing! I can see it becoming one of, if not my favorite Bible. They are on sale through Lifeway as of 5/23
Hi, do you remember how much the sale price was?
Great video.

Great review thanks Tim, agree the references are jumbled up which is one of the reaasons i havent bought it
Like the box. Ordered it today. Holman is coming up strong. Thanks for review.
How does the paper compare to the goatskin csb verse by verse ? Is it the same in quality and thickness?

Good-looking Bible. Thanks for the video.

Great Bible reviews. Thanks.
Bonded leather is the particle board of leathers
I just hope it would hold up to daily use.
Replying to myself. Mine has held up perfect. It’s one of my favorite bibles and the bonded cover is fantastic.
Hi Jeremiah, hope you are well! Is the Bible still holding up well? Also, Lifeway currently has it for $28. Would you say that's a good price?

@@jerem0621 Thanks Jeremiah! I think that'd be a great gift for your pastors; I'm sure they'd be very thankful. God bless and have a great weekend!
Hey Jeremiah, I checked Lifeway again today and these Bible's are down to $14. Though I should let you know.
I like end of verse references. As in Holman LPPS IN 11.25 FONT.
how would this compare to a nkjv wide-margin?
Does this csb have the 2020 updated text? :)
It does. I received this bible today and it does say 'don't become yoked.. ' instead of 'don't become partners..'. I like that.
Hey brother, can you tell me if this version has Christ words in red?
They are black letter
What’s the EXACT name of the ESV verse by verse that your compared the CSB with ?

Is the paste down paper or vinyl?
Vinyl liner

I love you videos
I like verse by verse. But paragraph OK if verses are clear.

😂 Sorry!
Lol
Mollie you don’t need that bible, but I’m late to this video 😂
