Hello.. I have tested positive for TTG( 72% )but my biopsy is negative.. I have consulted two.. One said I am celiac, another specialist confirm ncgs.. I am on gluten free diet from last 5 years. I want to confirm that am I celiac or only have NCGS.. Please advice.
150.00 to 200.00 Gene test is the fastest way to figure if you have the Celiac Gene. Saves countless tests, Doctor visits, Missed work, and any cost you might have . It was worthless to go to the doctor even when, even when i expressed having a autoimmune issue or Celiac.
I've just had two genetic tests for the HLA DQ2 and the HLA DQ8 gene and both came back positive that I carry both gene markers, but wasn't aware I had to eat gluten for six to eight weeks if I want to get a blood test, which I'm not willing to do as every time I eat anything with gluten in it I get severely sick. Help what should I do as I would like a proper diagnosis.
I'm a Licensed Dietician-Nutritionist, and I appreciate Dr. Fasano's excellent explanation above on getting an accurate celiac diagnosis. So if "getting an official celiac diagnosis" is important to you, then yes you would need to be consuming gluten on a daily basis leading up to the test. Many people have Non-Celiac Gluten Sensitivity (NCGS) and they feel bad after eating wheat too. Since you already know eating wheat makes you feel bad, perhaps you might reflect if it's truly necessary for you to get a diagnosis of Celiac vs NCGS, or simply continue to avoid eating wheat. (FYI - I've been gluten free for 13 years due to NCGS). Sorry I don't have an "easier" answer for you - Be well.
If I eat wheat , refined carbs or sugar of any kinds right away my body start itching like crazy and I get rashes and I get very anxious and my heart start beating fast too...plus constipation gas insomnia and chronic fatigue .
@@organicfireorganicfire1236 hello. I have a gastritis since a long time. I have to much GI discomfort almost every day. Just would like to say that eating gluten doesn't mean to eat refine carbs or sugar. You could eat wheat berries wich are not refined. Greetings and sorry for my english
I have seen this Dr. speak at a convention, he is amazing. But I do not recall him telling us you need to eat gluten for 6 weeks before testing-sure it will inflame the gut and your biopsies will come back positive- but any good Dr. will tell you, if you have all the symptoms and carry the Genes, you have Celiac! I am HLA DQ8 Positive and my biopsy was Negative bc I refused to eat gluten!!! My Dr said I 100% have Celiac! I had all the symptoms before I stopped eating gluten. My blood work consistently shows I have Mal-absorption. Check your Total Protein and ALK P levels-another indication of Celiac!!!
Dr. I am a Patient treated with False Diagnosis for 30 years, 20 of Neurologist poisoning. a hell. The issue is that a gastronomy woman from Argentina says that my injury was March 3 after 8 years of a perfect diet, that my saliva healed and I don't have helicobacter, nothing happens and I'm afraid. What opinion do you have? You already answered me an e-mail once
Doc: negative with iga, ttg, ema, Ana antibodies, positive with Hla dq2 and total atrophy. Which has been the reason that trigger this special condition ?
When testing for tTGA (and/or any antibodies) must also test for Total IgA. (If Total IgA is low, then may get False Low / False Negatives on your antibody tests)
@@AngelaTaylor2 I have always been tested with Iga, Ttg, Ema. My Iga has always been through 1 to max or 1.8 during all my life. Just recently the Iga spiked to 5.9 after my family got covid. Ttg max 3.
My granddaughter secretly ate her hair as a 2-3 years old. Iron deficiency! She finally was throwing up random …it had to be surgically removed, it was huge. She has been diagnosed as gluten sensitive by eliminating gluten and suddenly improving. If she eats gluten accidentally she throws up. There has never been a diagnosis as Celiac. She ate regular noodles before her iron deficiency. She always refused to eat bread. Comments?
Living with the stigma of celiac Disease and not been able to have a healthy life was messing up my life until I got some Super herbs from Dr igho UA-cam channel, I haven't had any Symptoms for some while now, after I did a test & I'm planning to get another test done. Am grateful & advise you help yourself also

Does reflex mean they will do another test
Why are elevated levels of anti-gliadin IGA in stool test not an acceptable biomarker for NCGS?

@@AngelaTaylor2 but that's like telling someone to torture themselves for 6 to 8 weeks , I think that test is ridiculous and dangerous.

Hosting hookworms put my celiac disease into full remission. Gluten is a non-issue now.

In the urine may be positive because of high fructose corn syrup...

Do you know that celiac is not sexually transmitted?
There's no stigma. What are you talking about? Or are you just peddling snake oil?
What stigma? It is just a change in diet. Having chronic digestive issues around people in my opinion would be a stigma.
