Whst i find most revealing is the fact that a student can still switch visa to skilled work visa even if he/she failed a module in school inasmuch as the application is made after the course end date.

Dear brother. This is not an official visa category. This is a work around that is presented in the video.
1. Setup your busines/conpany in UK
2. Get a sponsorship license for your company (ability to offer skilled worker visa sponsorship to international people)
3. Get yourself a skilled worker visa through your own company.
So basically you are getting a UK Skilled Worker Visa through Self-Sponsorship route.
What about bringing healthy single parent by a British national.
