I have Top Gear 2 on the Amiga; I've never been big on racing games but I definitely have some fond nostalgia for that one - and the music still randomly enters my head from time to time. Never played the other ones though. I had no idea this collection existed, so thank you Don for the heads-up! 👍
Top Gear 2 is the best of the collection, just a perfect SNES racing game that me and my friends spent countless afternoons enjoying back then. I wonder how many people will miss out on this because it's called Top Racer and not Top Gear Collection (and I know about the copyright dispute with the TV show and all that, but it's unfortunate)
Never in my life would i see a video on Top Racer. I play these games as a kid and i already bought it the day it came out! Glad im not the only one that love this series! Thanks Don for doing this! Also yeah the OST is so damn fantastic!
Don is just so capable of painting the picture and feelings of what he's discussing, I could close my eyes and see it all perfectly in my minds eye. Sorry, corny I know lol. But honestly, you do a great job Don! I really appreciate you and all the other present and past Easy Allies!
Top Gear is a legend here in Brazil, the only place Video Games Live HAD to play the Barry Leitch's score for the Vegas stage, also Qbyte is a Brazilian publisher
I think it’s just tough to vote for a game you’ve never played before. I imagine most people are not swayed much by arguments but instead cast votes based on their feelings on the game. Not saying that I’d probably do much differently, mind you.
@@bandanaboy64 I'm more referring to the fact that Don put together this wonderful script that's 6 minutes long and has a lot to say. He struggles so much with his Presentation at HoG, going off on tangents and stuff. This video shows he could have some of the best presentations ever!

Don, i don't think i can properly explain how popular Top Gear was in Latin America. I don't think you can find a Brazilian alive that didn't play this game at some point or isn't a least aware of them
Wish they were able to make the framerate higher. I always find it hard to play games like this at less than 60 fps. Plus that 3rd game, the camera is so close to the ground that it looks impossible to see what is ahead... Think I'll stick with Super Hang-On and Outrun for now 🙏
Top Racer Collection????? Sounds good but come on PlayStation Developers you have to do better than this if I was creating a top racing collection game I would definitely put these games instead of this one: Cruisn Exotica, Cruis'n World Out, Run Online Arcade, OutRun 2 OutRun 2006: Coast 2 Coast PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 you really need to step up your game collection

Top Racer is the name of the series. LOL, it's just like if they made a Cruisn collection. -Bloodworth
