Easy Vegetable Stock from Scraps

  • A quick and easy vegetable stock using the parts of vegetables people typically throw away.
    It's a perfect way to easily flavor rice or pasta, but my favorite is making a vegetable soup or ramen broth with it.
    Ingredients:
    1 bag of vegetable scraps (can be anything but stick to things like celery, mushrooms, onions, leeks, carrots)
    2 tsp Thyme
    1 tbsp olive oil
    5 cloves of garlic
    2 bay leaves
    salt & pepper to taste
