Feeding Your Homemade Ginger Bug

Learn how to feed or refresh your ginger bug.
This video is the second of a series of 4 that take you through the process of making your very own ginger beer/ale using all natural yeast and carbonation.
Recipe:
1 inch piece of ginger, about 1 tbsp
1 tbsp sugar
Grate the ginger into small pieces and add to your already established ginger bug.
Stir to mix the sugar into the water and cover the jar with either a tightly woven cloth or it's lid.
If you're making the ginger bug for the first time, you'll need to feed it for about 5 days in order to build up the yeast to a level that works for making ginger ale/beer.
