101 degrees through the Mojave is actually not too bad. I drove through that area a few times during the summer of 2024 and it was 118. Wouldn't try riding my bike in that. Thank you for the video.
A very impressive video. So far, Rapha films have shown a lot of the passion, perseverance, and glorious moments of cyclists, but the scenes showing the riders feeling the heat and fatigue, enduring and continuing to ride, and eventually returning with a truck were impressive for showing another realistic side.
Seeing these two guys, alone with their bikes, in the middle of nowhere, doing this incredible "real" thing, even without a saddle bag to bring their spares and tools. This really makes me feel a total beginner 😁
Meh, bike tube feels like the same generic shit over and over again. How many chill step songs and long distance drone shots with voice over can you watch? Fk the old, keep giving us new shit that’s fun.
A lot of hate on this video but I think its cool to see Rapha pushing the boundaries of what a bike film can look like. Refreshing and beautiful, thanks!
Agree with others…. This one misses the mark. The entire video made me feel uncomfortable. Why in the world would anyone want to ride a bike after seeing this? 🤣
Come on, @raphafilms this is a garbage video which would better serve as an example of how to get yourself dead with the wrong bikes, supplies, and lack of planning.
Great video, like the days of the Continental with Ira, Aaron and Cole. Just one suggestion; unless it's a US only video put measurements that the rest of the world understands on the overlay, please.
You guys rode through town and did not contact me, the town’s only RCC member. What the heck? Boooooo! 😹😛 But seriously I am glad you guys survived. We have tourists die every month here from the heat. Good job.
Seems a little overdramatized… like there are dudes who go out and do these types of rides truly self supported just for the hell of it, then return home and go to work the next day like nothing happened
What's Fahrenheit ? 😁 I mean Cmon its 2024. But seriously, great footage and great location. We need more bike films like this. Ive been to both places, and riding in Thailand in the summer with 90% humidity is way beyond the heat in the desert. Muzcali came pre acclimatized. Both are hot, but the tropics will suck the life out of you as well as every drop of water your body has. The old Rapha films are great to watch as well.
Interesting. Road shoes for a adventure ride. A Totally supported ride. But, I guess this was a choreographed movie to sell clothing. I have done many adventure rides ............. Interesting.
The new version of the lightweight jersey is not as good as the old one. The previous jersey was the best jersey ever made if you only fixed the back pocket
Congratulations on your short film Ginger and Angus! So what if the story is “unbelievable” to some of y’all. The saddle bag talk I’m seeing really puts a perspective on how insufferable y’all must be during group rides lmaoo. The filmography and experimental effects incorporated make it evident that creatives are pushing boundaries in cycling films, showcasing growth and talent that promise exciting developments in the future. Keep up the great work!
She literally rides in Bangkok, if she’s struggling with the heat then that’s no bad thing. And regardless of whether Instagram’s a heavy part of her profile, she still churns out like 300 miles a week. Compose yourself lad
sound design, character dev, color grading, editing - may not be everyones cup of tea from a ride project perspective but beautifully put together!
Really dig this different approach and style!
This was awesome.

it is acting, remember!
In real life , it would be stupid to ride there without spares .
Impossible routes. Seems like I've heard that one somewhere
I love your films but this one is a bit MEH. You need to calm down and keep your identity before it's completely gone.
agree!!!!
Rapha is garbage. They are the circle jerk of cycling

Beautiful! And that color grading too… perfect. 🎯
Comments re two bottles & no tools etc. Reckon they had a full support team in the car with the camera crew.
Great video guys, thansk for posting.

why would anyone NOT want to ride after seeing this?
you must be extremely sensitive if THIS made you uncomfortable, LOL!
Love it! The story, camera movements, sound design, special effects! You are doing your movies better each time! Well done!
Support vehicle or not, that looked absolutely brutal! It gets tougher when your mind starts playing games with you...
Solid video! Stoked on Andrew & Muzcali! Gus always delivers! 👍
Come on, @raphafilms this is a garbage video which would better serve as an example of how to get yourself dead with the wrong bikes, supplies, and lack of planning.
you clearly don't know who Andrew is, and what he is capable of.... LOL!
but why ?
Dope vid I was just giving Andrew kudos on strava on todays ride. Maybe shoulda called it cooked. More videos of these two would not disappoint🤙🏼
Only 2 bottles of water and no saddle bag to cross the Mojave in 101 deg? 😂
All it‘s an stupid content marketing of a sect
They had a support vehicle - they definitely rode though and it was rough lol.
@@markallenalfordlol exactly they have a full crew filming them obviously they had supplies hajajaajaj
come on! they had a film crew and back up van!
easy easy , Man . In the short they have a team support.
Wicked ride 🥶
Too much cool.
This is so beautiful from the cycling, cinema, sound, editing, crew, music . top top top !!!
muzcali in her natural habit
Love the editing and music. New feel for new videos.
Weird video. Odd vibe chosen for the music and atmosphere. Had some great footage though
Awesome!
Sorry I fell asleep watching that, did I miss anything?
no!
Should have been an ad for hydration packs like Uswe
awesome

Great video, still the new Rapha jerseys don’t look good in my opinion. Hope the brand can make the turnaround
they are so lucky the Terminator didn't get them. he was right there the whole day.
i think what you've depicted is psychosis due to temperature while our riding and in a zone of self support only. Freaky.

well.. these two riders did also likely go on the next day doing whatever as if nothing happened.

It's almost too slick your videos.
I like the authenticity of a quickly made video sometimes.
OMG Rapha.... ""me and my bike"" still there¿? ""me supha supha"" .. again and again....
yesssssssssssssss shoutout gus (also bring back the feature lengths pls thank you love you)
watch out for the legion
This looks staged AF. 😅
When muz said she’s going for vacation, this is what she has in mind 😅 🔥
Interesting. Road shoes for a adventure ride. A Totally supported ride. But, I guess this was a choreographed movie to sell clothing. I have done many adventure rides ............. Interesting.
That is what I gonna say, road shoes, LOL
Yeah my zip on my pro team jersey cracked, it’s never good when that happens
She is very watchable but hey get up early and its only 75 degrees for until the sun bares down.. We are in Coachella valley.
why road shoes?
❤
go for it
Lame
Oldbies have to remember this reality “Rapha we used to know has changed and is not existing anymore”
Is Vegan Cyclist affiliated with Rapha? Cause loves “impossible routes”
Worst Rapha Production ever, I am sorry guys. Will be better next time.
The new version of the lightweight jersey is not as good as the old one. The previous jersey was the best jersey ever made if you only fixed the back pocket
Walmart through the desert.
Marketing….
... by non cyclists.
Just drop the "artzy" stuff....its enough already....
Riding across the Mojave Desert? Almost makes you wish for a nuclear winter.
Na na na ...
I was wondering how far I would have to scroll for someone to make a fallout reference

It's fun to see these guys "suffering" at 32ºC. It's just a normal day in the Southern Hemisphere winter
Do better than this Rapha. You used to be capable of producing good content. You are a bit to full of yourself these days
Unwatchable, cringe
I see Andrew as a cyclist and for him, it was like a z2 ride, but for Instagrammer it was survival, breathing through layers of makeup ))
She literally rides in Bangkok, if she’s struggling with the heat then that’s no bad thing. And regardless of whether Instagram’s a heavy part of her profile, she still churns out like 300 miles a week. Compose yourself lad
natural not possible
This is the worst rapha film by a considerable margin. Need some interesting subjects like Lachy and Angus.
Yawn.
These are the types of videos were subscribed for! Zvibezzzzz man
