🗣️ "Didn't get what I wanted, but will not give up," said KM Deeksha after finishing 3rd with a time of 4:18.38.
This season, Deeksha bettered the National Record with her lifetime best of 4:04.78, just 2.28s shy of the #ParisOlympics qualification mark of 4:02.50.
Interestingly, her idol is former National Record holder Harmilan Bains.
Inspired by Harmilan, she started the 1500m, and last year, she defeated Harmilan at the Interstate, this year snatching her NR holder title.
