Love that you showed the rail falling off the garage door. I've made a few dumb mistakes!

How tight you put the chain and how do you wire the back of the garage door opener for the safety switches and on and off switch you can’t skip that part

after installing the arm bracket the door will not stay closed unless ankered down, did you run into this problem?

I did not, though maybe you need to change the angle of the arm bracket? There are a few different hole options, if you make the bracket more vertical (shorter) in the closed position it should help keep the door down, since more force is pointed down.

@@rednecklite ah, makes sense. Either that or the springs are too tight. Thank you for the response! Good video btw

Does it already come with wires for assembly?

    • @rednecklite

Yes, it's got a big reel of wire for the door button and very long wires attached to the sensors. I had more than enough to get from the bottom of the door up to the unit and to the button on the all on the other side of the garage.

    Use caps not just tape

If it were AC mains power or something I would, but it's low voltage so tape is sufficient. Really I should use some heat shrink butt connectors...
