@@MLGSU5P3CT apparently this car gives you the option to automatically rev match, so all you gotta do is clutch in, select the gear you want, and half a second later release the clutch, you can disable it I think but it probably helps in traffic
@@MLGSU5P3CT I used to work at Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and lived in Surrey. That’s about an hour+ drive 1 way with traffic. Driving manual on the way home has saved me countless times coz it helped stop me from falling asleep in the stop and go on the way home. Not everyone is the same, I know. But I’d pick manual any day until I can’t use my left foot.
We have almost three feet of snow in the yard and it's cold af. Every so often I have to watch a video like this to remember what warm summer night driving is like and that it's not far off xD
Not sure if I should get this , the new civic sport touring, or the new Integra when it comes out 😑. I would like a daily driver with a manual transmission.
@@Mienboi821510 that's not true, golf gti is is about 5,000 USD cheaper in Canada because it's made in Canada just like the new civic, they had two options with it, reduce the price of the si by 5k in Canada like vw does or give it more features and sell it at around the same price as the US but give it more features.
Depends on a few aspects. Where you live, if it's snowy, FWD/SI is better than RWD if not as good as AWD. Practicality, rear passengers ? SI. Warm climate, pure driving exp, not regular passengers in the back, 86/BRZ. This is me, ending up with an SI based on the above criterion though I would personally get a 86 if it were just me and for no one else.
Night drives are the best. I remember nights where i just go out and drive on the freeway, windows down, wind blowing.
💯💯
Same
It do be hitting different though
Nothing beats the feel of a manual transmission.
An automatic car in traffic does lol

Mines got delayed till may/Jun. I told my honda guy at that point I rather wait for the type r
Pretty nice car 💪

9:26 Still waiting for the loud engine sound. 😁
I don't think I've ever seen a single pov drive here in the states where someone shifts the car right.
Who decides to night drive with no music nobody wants to sit and listen to road noise
Nice car
Seemed like a decent little commuter car. Not much else to say about this one.
Yeah, the US spec has stripped out features compared to the Canadian model. Just because of the upcoming Integra. 🤦♂️
@@Mienboi821510 hadn’t heard that. I’ll have to look into it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention.

Is it worth upgrading from a sport to si jw because I was excited at first but looking into it just getting 42 more hp and some other stuff added
Thinking of a 2022 si or a 2022 brz, I need opinions. I love both body styles but I like the brzs 2.4 but the civic has space and sunroof
Two totally different cars. Depends on your needs
Si will be more usable, BRZ is more of a traditional sports car with more road noise and such.
Check out my reviews of the GR86 and Civid Si. If you don't need the rear seats, I'd say GR86/BRZ, but the practicality of the Si can't be denied
Made a choice yet ? I'm getting a 2022 si in a month. Considered the 86 as well. RWD was very tempting , but I loved what they did with the 11th gen.

Should I go for 4000 rpm for first gear
Do you have to turn on Rev match every time you drive?
Pretty sure not
@@shuduramuya4400 I wouldnt be so sure. On the auto they make you turn off cylinder deactivation every time.
Your right but it must be written on the car information
It remembers whatever setting you left it in (on or off)
Can u drive the audi rsq8 2022 next?
Trying to source one, but it's been tough!
Can you view the temperature in the dash??
Outside air temp? I thought I remembered seeing that amidst the options, yes
@@MilesPerHr no the temperature of the engine. I dont see a gauge in any reviews/videos!
do you have to turn on rev matching every time?
Not sure if you already found out in the past 4 months. If you haven’t, the answer is no

What did you do to not stall at 4:00?
Feather the clutch so it engages and disengages the gear.
@@MilesPerHr so who's the winner? Civic Si or Acura Integra 6 speeds manual? im thorn
