Another great video. Separate Ways has a special place in my collection as it was the first ever Elvis LP I received (Xmas ‘78) as an 8 year old….. alongside an Evel Knievel motorcycle. Suffice to say I still have the album but not the toy. Great selection of tracks.
A few years back at a record fair I found a copy of the UK double dynamite not checking if the poster was inside and when I got home was disappointed at it not being there, thank God I found a better copy last year with the poster. There not too hard to find. Fab vid mate
My understanding is that the RCA International releases were first issues in the UK of those specific albums. Later issues were Camden first with the RCA logo until circa 1978 when the issues then drop the logo
Hello from England ELVIS died 2 days before my 12th birthday. I have been a FAN ever since My father died 20 years ago and my mother died in June 2019 and it was my mother who had a small collection of vinyl from the 50's and the 60's mainly Frank Sinatra and Shirley Bassey and Matt Monro and Nat King Cole and one Tom Jones Album. I have added to the collection over the last few years but now having gone back to Elvis i have started a collection of vinyl and have 9 vintage albums but only 2 are of the Camden Label and they are: RCA CAMDEN CDS 1150 1970 ELVIS THE U.S.MALE RCA INTERNATIONAL CAMDEN MONO INT 1126 1970 RCA LTD RCA CORP MADE IN USA ELVIS SINGS CHRISTMAS SONGS ELVIS CHRISTMAS ALBUM I love vintage vinyl -nothing like the sound you get
Yes I done the same thing stuck that poster on my wall the only lucky thing is I took it off and carefully peeled off the sellotape which I looked and stuck on the back so I do have the poster folded up in the album luckily been trying to find but I've got to get the copy of the Elvis Presley Sun Collection on Camden International from France
A very interesting video. The budget albums were great ways for very young Elvis fans at the time(like me) to own affordable Elvis records.Lets Be Friends and Almost In Love are my two favourites and I'm pretty sure RCA could have compiled a really good full-price release from the standout tracks from that album. Nice to see the triple-set as I own that but knew nothing of the 2nd volume. Great stuff!!
Great video, always loved the UK Separate Ways cover - compared to our US version. I have Double Dynamite on CD and yet another new cover for it's release... oh RCA lol.

Interesting, watching your video I noticed that for example the album "Almost In Love - USA" in your country the back of the record is different than in my country
@@tcbsince73 I sold my collection over 30 years ago, so i cant give you much information about my "Separate ways" version. Sorry... Bought in Norway, not so expensive, but not so cheap as the Camden records.
Never thought about putting hits on Camden to sell better, seems it could have been a good idea. I like Camden albums and Pickwick, for some reason Pickwick are condemned by some fans. Prefer original artwork not so much when they redesigned them, for the worse I think. I thought 'I Got Lucky' - pink cover, was originally with full photo in UK.
@@tcbsince73 The emotional, of course, means a lot, and each title means a lot to us, but can i ask what title you like best, if you looking away from the emotional?
C'mon everybody & easy come easy go have the same front cover i should rewind and check really, a Bain to record collectors, who's doing the research & quality control.
Speaking of the Christmas albums on Camden the one you showed and said it was a us a copy I have a British British copy of that with the exact same full cover not the white cover with the circle on the Green international label as the same as the come on everybody in Britain was on international I could never figure out the difference with Camden and International you're including international with these Camden's but our international Camden I was too young to actually buy these at the actual time they were released in 1970 I got them later unreleased what are they the same price as Camden and are they classed as Camden is the question?
None of Elvis's albums are budget in my opinion. The U.S. Male is one of my favourite albums to listen to from his entire catalogue. I first owned the CD version back in 1992 on Rainbow records in Australia. The Australian version of Elvis Double Dynamite, is called The Elvis Explosion, with the same double LP white cover.
question does it bother u that these lp from the uk are not in great shape. would save u alot of money to buy one or two great copies instead of 10 so so

Easy come, easy go", my second Elvis-lp. I love this.
Many thanks wonderful video and collection
I had to replace my Camdens, I played them so much.
Fine presentation. The Camden and Pickwick release are sometimes strange, sometimes very fine compilations.
Almost in Love is the one I remember.

Thanks. It’s great how so many of us started out buying these.

The variations make collecting interesting
I think i have Separate ways" on "double cover" Do yoy know what version that is?
No I don’t recognise it, interested to know more.

After elvis died all the elvis record from the uk came to the usa
I didn't know that. Were they UK pressings?

What is your favorite ELVIS-album, mister? Thanks for these great videos...
Hard to answer, it changes depending on my mood. I know it’s not the best, but I do like Promised Land, it was my first one I got on release.
@@tcbsince73 I like that too. About the Camdens records it had to be "Almost in love".

RCA treatment of Elvis’ album art in the 70s was dire.
It is confusing. Some are labelled International (Camden) just to confuse us further.
On my almost in love it had stay away joe and my version is usa

the U.K. albums were my original copies. I wasn’t buying as a collector, but as a fan. Now each one holds memories for me.
dont get me wrong i really like ur videos but uk lps are not worth that much compared to lps from USA OR JAPAN
but I am British, so naturally these were my albums while growing up. The US and Japanese albums are great and, for me, interesting variations.
