Convert Inventor into Revit Families

- Have you ever wanted to make a complex Revit family? If you have Inventor, you're halfway there. Inventor gives you the power to create complex geometry that Revit can't. Now you can export that complex Inventor assembly over into Revit.
Learning Objectives:
• Setup your assembly for Revit
• Export an assembly to .rfa
• Import the new Inventor assembly .rfa

I very much appreciated what you shared on UA-cam. you were very concise and clear. no beating around the bush, no extra fluff, and no annoying music as well. I esteem you work, you're a good teacher.
Thanks a lot brother
It really helped a lot
Hi! I have a question, when you export the assemblies from Inventor to Revit in this video, do they get imported with the materials and separate functionalities that you have defined for them in Inventor? I am trying use Inventor 2022, but not all the materials come through to Revit. It comes as a big chunk of geometry without distinction between separate parts and subsequent materials. I tried with both rvt and rfa. Any solutions or suggestions is appreciated by me.
Thanks :)
Thank you! This video helped a lot with some parts I was trying to make. Although, I am still stuck on a few things. Do you know how I could specify a component to one family, like doors or windows? When I put my window file into Revit, I realized it was not constrained to the walls, and I'm not sure how to fix that.
Great tutorial. What version of inventor is it?
your video very good !!
How can it be fixed when, when passing it, geometries are lost or damaged?
I would really appreciate your help
