Hi Laurie. I really appreciate your tips and want to share one of mine. I unfortunately have to pack a lot of prescription medications and all those little bottles take up a lot of space. On my last two trips I went to my pharmacist and asked if he would print out a set of the prescription information that is adhered to the medication bottles. I then counted out each of the pills needed for my trip ( and a few extra, just in case...). I put each set of pills for each medication in a small, plastic, zip-closed snack bag and added the appropriate lable. Then all the little bags went into a quart sized ziplock. Much less space was needed for my medications. Happy travels!
Oh wow, that air tag in the shoe thing is amazing! My beloved Dad died of alzheimers, and tended to wander off, that would have been such a godsend for my stepmother to keep track of where he had gotten lost.
Oh wow, that jewelry case with the velvet pouches would be great for storing some of the antique jewelry I inherited! This would be perfect and I can corral it all into one spot. That's going on my christmas wishlist!

Laurie, wishing you and your family (2 legged and 4 legged) a truly blessed and safe Thanksgiving. May your year ahead be filled with things for which to be thankful!💖
Laurie, I bought the Lovevook 15 inch back pack on your recommendation and I just want to thank you. I used it for my cPap for my trip to Paris last month and it worked very well. The bag is not only attractive but is very well constructed and was pretty comfortable considering the weight I was carrying.
Thank you! I’m watching all of your videos as I have not flown in 30 years and will be taking my Granddaughter to Germany for her graduation gift. Your videos are helping relieve my anxieties. Thanks, again.
Love your recommendations! I bought the wallet and compression bags for myself and another set for my boyfriend last year. Definitely great quality and work great! I’m looking into the wheel covers today!
So glad I found your videos. First uk trip and I called delta about cognitive impairment. I used it once already. They said they had coded all my tickets. I take a lot of prescription meds- OMG. I would have never known that. I have long term Covid and ADHD. But I go anyways. I have been buying as you talk. We are going early May so not a dress up cruise. Do you know sizes for the internal flight for personal items
Thank you for another helpful video! I am ordering the wheel covers! We leave for the Christmas Markets River cruise, in less than two weeks! I hope you have a fabulous time on your trip! If I run into you, I promise I won’t “ stalk” you! Lol. Enjoy !
Love your ideas! Purchased ANOTHER backpack….I have one, daughter has two and her friend just showed up for Thanksgiving with one as well! I also use the toiletry bag and looooove it! I bought the airline pocket cover for my daughter for our next trip!
Enjoy your Christmas Market’s trips. I went 20 years ago on a trip to the Market’s in Germany and Austria. On this Thanksgiving day I’m grateful to you for sharing your knowledge and love of travel.
Hi Laurie,Hope your Thanksgiving was awesome. Wanted to let you know I got an awesome pair of booties from Ecco when I was in Tennessee last month and you weren’t kidding. They are so comfortable. I love them. Thanks for steering me I the Ecco direction. For Black Friday I ordered a pair of the Chelsea waterproof boots. Now that I know my size I may end up with quite a collection. Lol
I have the stand up makeup brush bag and I also stash an eyebrow pencil, eyeliner pencil, gloss, concealer, anything I can fit in there. I put the whole thing in my personal bag. I have the Amazon bag for all my other things (unfolds to 4 compartments) and lay that open in my carry on, but man, I might try just separate bags for other face things and then body things/hair things. I could definitely do a check-in, but don’t want to pull an extra suitcase!
It's so great! This video may help; it gives you ideas of how to organize every single thing that goes in your carry-on: bit.ly/TipsCarryOnBagOrganization
I forgot to take my adapters for my phone chargers, but fortunately I had my Anker back-up battery. It worked just fine -- I did have my fast-charging cables for both my iPod mini and my Android phone, though the charging blocks I use here in France were useless. I also had a multi-charging cable with USB-A, USB-C, and micro-USB plugs. It wasn't much use to me because it took 7 or 8 hours to fully charge a device. I highly recommend paying close attention to whether you have what you'll need for international electrical systems.
Been looking at a couple of these for a while (seatback pockets & the liquid holders) , and thanks to you 😄👍 now bit the bullet. Seat pockets are a longtime peeve, they are too stiff/tight to hold much. This is a great idea. Found that a LOT of these are on big sale this weekend! Saw a new-to-me thingy that looks interesting-a cup holder and “pocket” that fits on the curved window edge, for those who have window seats. Can’t explain it here, but if it works, could be a big help. (I may have missed it in your earlier vids) Also, I used to have those arm skin bumps. They are called KP (keratosis something); you can Google. Amlactin lotion (with lactic acid) was a miracle worker for me, and light exfol.
Laurie! Thanks so much for the Amazon links! Do you have Amazon storefront as well? I’m preparing for 10 day cruise. Do you have video on packing for a cruise. Something I took on last cruise was magnet hooks for cabin wall to hang Things on. Thanks so much for your channel!
I love that compression legging with the pocket, but I am always nervous about keeping anything valuable in a pocket that doesn't zip. Always paranoid that something could slip out without me realizing it. I do have socks with a credit card sized zippered pocket, and travel undies with a zippered pocket large enough for a passport. For high pickpocket areas, a Scotte vest is perfect, since most of the zippered pockets are inside the vest, which is itself zippered. Fits easily under a sweater and jacket.
Love your videos, they are so helpful. I have a question about the watch bling.. I have a rose gold bezel, should I go with the rose gold bling (or would it be too gaudy) or would the gold be better/or conflict? Thanks.
Hmmm it's been forever since I had those...not the ones with metal prongs but the one Tom Cruise wears when he's dancing will fit: amzn.to/3LUqvof (these definitely fit). I cannot find my older pair link that look like his.

Hi Laurie. Thank you so much for your videos. They help so much. Especially the videos with your husband and helping calm me down before my flight next week. The more I know the better. Speaking of, my boyfriend and I are traveling back to my home state of North Carolina, we live in Louisiana, do you know if we still wear masks on flights? We are flying Delta.
Great videos Laurie. Could you advise which of the two Lovevook backpacks would you recommend for the only carry on you can take. Will have to pack spares of clothing in case checked in case is delayed etc. The measurements of both are correct for my international and local connections. I will have a wheeled suitcase to be checked in. Thank you.
I just do not know. I feel like the striped one has more space in the bottom because it is bucket style, but it is shorter than the light gray one. But both are fine for a laptop 15.6. I feel like I can get more into the light gray one. Can you order them on Amazon and then return the one you do not like?
Thank you Laurie, I never thought to order both and return the one that doesn’t suit 🤦♀️🤣. Yes I can order through Amazon, and have done with several of your recommendations in your travel shop. ( and several other are on my Christmas list for the family to purchase! ) Really appreciate your tips, most helpful.
Hi, in the US, most airports have the newer technology so you can keep them in your bags. But one day it could be like that and the next they will make you take it out. My tip is to just be ready either way so you are not stressed.
HiLaurie! Love your videos. I’m getting ready to go on a one month trip to Dubai’s, India, Thailand and Hawaii. From Dec 22st to end of January. I would love to see a video with suggestion for such. Wide range of temperatures and activities. We’ll mostly warm but we will Be in some cold areas in India. Some casual things and some times for a little dressing up. Do you have e a video like this?
Ooh, most backpacks have them as do tote bags. But I do not use it every trip fyi. You can pack things in that pocket. Hmmm there is this one but it's smaller: amzn.to/3RgygIw size large
@traveltipsbyLaurie I am planning a trip for the first time in ages that we will check luggage. i know no batteries but what are the dos/don'ts there???
Hi, you can go to tsa.gov and in the top right corner is What Can I Bring. There you can type in the item and it will tell you if allowed in carry-on or in checked bags and why.
Hey Laurie, im a new subscriber and i absolutely love your channel! I am traveling to Ireland for the first time next year from USA and i am a disabled lady with mobility issues, i was wondering if you have any tips for a long flight with back and leg issues. I also purchased the striped backpack you suggested and i love it! Hugs❤
Hi and yay! I would recommend extra time for arrival. I also recommend you enrolling in this free program where I believe you get your own private lane with whoever you will be flying with: bit.ly/DisabilityTSALine
Yes, since I need to use their plugs, I pack an adapter, and since I pack a curling iron, I need a converter. Mine is a combo. Ahh to be in Ireland again!!!@@jackybraun2705
Hi there. I just subscribed to your channel! You mentioned “amazon” and another company that you purchase some of your travel essentials from; what is that website or link. Thank you again. I’ll check out some of your other videos on the plane tomorrow.
Hi, yes all links are below in the description paragraph (...read more) or in the first comment for you. My outfits and essentials are also on LTK which is where alot of influencers post their outfit and everything that is in the picture with the outfits if that makes sense.
Hi Mary. I do not. But I have a mostly casual travel style. I may need to iron one shirt or one sweater. The clothes do not budge. But it took me years to try them. Now after 4 years I will never go back. And you get two large in this set of 6, The creators are travelers too.
Careful with those luggage wheel covers. I learned to lift the suitcase over the bumps while exiting the plane. There’s nothing more embarrassing than having one pop off and roll down the jetbridge! Ask how I know, LOL.
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie Just the cover, thank goodness! An airline employee chased it down for me, and on the return trip I made sure to lift up on the bag over the rough spots. Never had any trouble after that-it might have been just a fluke that will never happen again. I was trying to look extra cute with my snazzy new Level 8 luggage.
I love all your suggestions! 😊 I do have a question about the thin wallet, I noticed it had a "D ring". I personally love being able to tether small wallets to my bag. Is it a one piece or two piece "D Ring"? Some are solid one piece and attached when the loop gets sewn and the wallet constructed. Some are 2 pieces and attached after construction. I've had horrible luck with the 2 piece kind(the straight piece screws into the "D" part. 😅. Happy Turkey Day! 🦃🦃🦃😋☺️
Hi Laurie, I love your videos. When you mentioned the little lumps on the back of your arms, did you know this is an issue with fat absorption and not absorbing fat soluble vitamins such as A, E, D and K. Have a look at Dr Mark Hyman with this issue and you should find info. Thanks for all you do in your videos.
My hubby laughed when I said they scrape my dry skin when reaching for a fingernail file. But it’s one of my favorite and now essentials for every day driving around town too.

Actually have just found that it says on information that it does not convert so I would need converter too?
@@Fran-z9s Yay, yes if a curling iron you need a converter to plug it into. Then that whole thing gets plugged into an adapter that will fit the Australia outlet. Here is my 1 minute video explaining: ua-cam.com/users/shortsresOzddNTvA
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie okiess.. Thank you for your speedy response..
I absolutely love all ur videos and are helping me alot.. So thank you for sharing these ❤️
Hi and yay!! No one is required to wear flights anymore in airports or in planes, but plenty of people still do.
Thank you Laurie, I never thought to order both
and return the one that doesn’t suit
🤦♀️🤣. Yes I can order through Amazon, and have done with several of your recommendations in
your travel shop. ( and several other are on my Christmas list for the family to purchase! ) Really appreciate your tips, most helpful.
Do u have to take out the liquids in the qt bag at airport or keep them in bag?
Hi, in the US, most airports have the newer technology so you can keep them in your bags. But one day it could be like that and the next they will make you take it out. My tip is to just be ready either way so you are not stressed.
Hi Lauri, what is the brand name of your selfie stick .APPRECIATED
Hi! All links are in the first comment and in the description box for ya.
HiLaurie! Love your videos.
I’m getting ready to go on a one month trip to Dubai’s, India, Thailand and Hawaii. From Dec 22st to end of January.
I would love to see a video with suggestion for such. Wide range of temperatures and activities. We’ll mostly warm but we will
Be in some cold areas in India. Some casual things and some times for a little dressing up.
Do you have e a video like this?
Hi, I think this video will help or be a great place to start: bit.ly/PackFor2Climates
Great thanks so much!
I love the stripped backpack, but I don't need a laptop sleeve. Do you have any similar bags to recommend that Don have the laptop sleeve?
@@TravelTipsbyLaurie thank you very much! Hugs
For travelling from the US to Ireland the main thing to remember is the different electric plugs and sockets and, of course the different voltage.
Yes, since I need to use their plugs, I pack an adapter, and since I pack a curling iron, I need a converter. Mine is a combo. Ahh to be in Ireland again!!!@@jackybraun2705
This is great! But I can’t find the link link to those compression bags you showed. Is there a link for them in this video?
It should be near the end of the list and in the first comment: shoptripped.com/Laurie-Holiday23-Carryon-Green
Question: My granddaughter who lives in Europe would like a hoverboard? Can I bring it on a plane (packed or carry-on)?
Hi, they are not allowed in either bag because they are combustible.
Thanks. That was my guess.@@TravelTipsbyLaurie
😍😍😍
Do you find your cloths are more wrinkled in the compression cubes then without.
Hi Mary.
Ha! Did you wheel pop off? Or did the cover?
Hi Andrea, it's sewn in and has lasted over a year. It was newly updated at the end of last year, and they added the ring.
@@TravelTipsbyLauriethank you! 🦃🥧
How to find Amazon links
Hi they are in the first comment I pinned and in the details under every video. Look for the words …show more or …read more.
Why a prescription shampoo? Am asking for my own issues
Hi, it's for my scalp-it was the start of psoriasis
Hi Laurie, I love your videos. When you mentioned the little lumps on the back of your arms, did you know this is an issue with fat absorption and not absorbing fat soluble vitamins such as A, E, D and K. Have a look at Dr Mark Hyman with this issue and you should find info.
Thanks for all you do in your videos.
Thanks so much!!
PS ordering the Emory board case, I have RUINED expensive sunglasses with a nail file!😮
My hubby laughed when I said they scrape my dry skin when reaching for a fingernail file. But it’s one of my favorite and now essentials for every day driving around town too.
Where is the Christmas market?
I am going to one in Brussels. Here is the video with tips: bit.ly/PackForChristmasMarket
I have never heard of it. Thank you.
I bought the wheel covers and they fell off
Oh no! What brand?

Woah, hold on there, will the liquids restriction be lifted in 2024????
Hi, we may not have to take out the bags anymore, but sadly we still have to have them together in a quart sized bag and in 3.4 ounce containers or smaller.
Thank you for the reply! Hey, at least that's progress!!

Haha, these are just my opinions. If you like dark green and brown, grab them while they are on Black Friday sale.
