Nice looking bass. I played in high school and college a bit, then took a loooong break. Then someone introduced me to a baritone uke (4 strings) which seemed to make sense. Finally got a guitar about 6 months ago and have been enjoying it. Good luck!
I tried guitar as well, but my fingers just don't work that way. I also prefer the groove of the bass.

what's the first song you learned? now that you've been playing bass, have you started listening to Primus more? 😁is this your first instrument? a fun way to train your ear is to try and play back jingles and songs right away when watching tv. i played a bunch of instruments growing up, was even a music major for a bit in college, but the reality of how hard it was going to be to make a living made me change majors. i have my bass & guitars hanging on the wall next to me, and sadly, i just haven't played much in the last few years
