      I find that it's easier to ollie while riding forward at some speed. If you are struggling to land an ollie while stationary, I recommend trying it while riding forward slowly - the momentum really helps.

    Bro, i just want to say that our videos have been a huge help for me. I am 38 and haven't been on a skateboard for almost 2 decades, I started again this season and have about 2 months under my belt now. I have got a few of the basics down now and 2 days ago I dropped in for the first time in my life, I still extremely uncomfortable at any sort of speed when I try tricks but I feel like I have had great progression for my age and time skating. My plan is to spend the rest of the summer getting more comfortable on my board and landing tricks while moving at a decent speed..
    Thank you for all your videos J.B.

    JB another great video. One thing you might want to consider is throwing an edit in in future videos of difficulty level and skill level as It really gives an idea on if ones ready for the trick level along with the tricks you should be able to do.

      @@SkateparkLessons, and it's something I find awesome. Thus why I mentioned it. I think sometimes it can motivate the person a bit if they know the level and risk level thus making them push themselves more. Plus the last time I saw anything close to how you share those details was Tony Hawk's Trick Tips back in 1999.

    These tips are really good. Only issue for me is I can never keep all my weight in the transition when I Ollie. I always seem to either lock into disaster or land basically right on the top of the quarter pipe.

    • @SkateparkLessons
      @SkateparkLessons  3 роки тому +2

      You need to start as slow as it takes for you to land it. Follow the rainbow shape and as you pop at the top of the rainbow, pull your knees up and land into a pump on the way down. Keep doing this and and extra speed as you get better. Please help me share this video or channel with your friends, thanks Marcus 💙🛹💙
