If basa or wet ang sand mayroon yan bulking factor so kailangan ang correction sa volume ng sand
Ex. 5% moisture in sand the bulking factor is about 15% so mag dadagdagan mo yong sand ng 15% volume para makuha ang exact volume of concrete. Kasi pag walang correction sa bulking factor bababa ang concrete volume produced.

Water content is very important in concrete mix design, you will need to consider the moisture content of the sand and gravel prior to adding the specified water. Another important factor is the temperature of concrete which affect the setting time which is usually happening on ready mix concrete.

Engineer, there were studies that were conducted in Nigeria,and it came out that 1:2:4 mixed ratio were the main reasons of their major buildings collapse during earthquake... So what is the safe mixture to be use for 2 storey concrete house ?
Thankyou for your comment. Fairly speaking, collapse of structure especially on low-rise buildings should not be attributed to concrete mix alone. That is why we call it reinforced concrete, it is a combination of rebars and concrete. There are lots of possible causes number 1 is workmanship, quality of materials such as aggregates, and water used, inappropriate rebar grades, incomplete design details leading to misinterpretation of plans etc..
