in my experience, static base shear is calculated from the tower down on top of the grade. in this case tower plus podium without parking since they are below the grade. run your response analysis then calibrate it to your calculated base shear. then check drift and design the lateral resisting elements.

@@jekiro020 yes that is correct. But the factor that I used considers complete system (finished structural shell), meaning that includes liveload already. It's a good start to determine preliminary footing size. Thanks

Sir ask ko lang sa design ba ng wedge anchor bolt same lang sa explanation sa video ? I mean yung minimum bolt pretension(230kn) is also same sa pull out force in tension ng wedge anchor bolt? If ever na yung pull out force ang gagamitin, same din lang ng calculation sir ? Sana po masagot
@@johny9083 No, you cannot use formula provided by code on regular anchor bolt to wedge anchor bolt. These are specialty products, I suggest to look for manufacturer's catalogue for various sizes and corresponding pull-out stregth. What I know, there is a required tightening or torquing to reach its desired expansion to develop better grip. I hope that answers your question. Thanks for watching and comment!
