25 years later we see two grown men reliving this experience. First for their mother and now their grandmother.
They just buried their Grandfather about 17 months ago or so. Although it was a quieter affair because of Covid protocols, I'm sure it was just as emotional. This whole family has been through a lot recently, in a lot of different ways.
The thoughts of the 2 boys kept coming back watching this. I also wondered what they all were thinking on that long walk.

I know it’s sad for all the family, but looking at William and Harry just reminds me of how these men were paraded behind their mothers coffin when they were babies. Traumatising 💔
Harry would have been one of those in the uniform. I think he is double saddened and to all of us.

Such a sad but honorable procession. I can’t help but look at the boys and wonder if they are living a vivid PTSD moment of walking behind a casket again. I know they’re older but I think it was really scarring when they did it for their mother. I hope peace comes to the family 🕊
Only one of the boys has a book to sell. So he might try to get all PTSD-ed for the Netflix viewers over an event that took place more than 2 decades ago.

You don't know what the other boy went through, being put on display before the world on what had to be the worst day of their lives. Told to not show emotions,not to cry then just sent from school to school,to grow up in a distance,unfeeling cocoon..in a fish bowl for the world to see every aspect of their lives. The other boy served two tours in Afghanistan until outed by the British press,so again,you don't know what he's going through.If the other boy's story can help someone else along the way with his story,life lessons..then what's your problem? All the newspapers and magazines made MILLIONS selling pictures of the two boys for years,people wrote books and got rich off of the boys pain and grief...so what are you talking about? That RF is beyond rich and no doubt that comes from selling things like(knighthoods,access to the now King,etc..) so what are you talking about? You don't like him,fine just don't discount what someone is going through and how they should go through it.

Yes, I was thinking about that when they came out to examine the flowers at Balmoral before they met with the people there. It was exactly the same as when they were young, though then Prince Charles was with them. It looked very stressful. Then when greeting the crowds it was so narrow there, they could easily have felt penned in.
Although I feel for them and all of the family, they are not boy's anymore. They are nearly middle-aged Father's now. Prince William would be the first to say that. It is sad, but not something that they cannot bear. They will grieve and go on, like their Grannie taught them. Princess Diana would NOT want them so crippled that they couldn't live happy lives, especially being Father's of their own children. Ppl need to realise that they aren't little boy's anymore. It's offensive to talk to about them like that, especially with some of their accomplishments.
@@fluer6049 when we loose elder loved ones we all are “children”. Compared to Charles they are younger. And still, an 80 years old Lady would call Charles “poor boy” thinking about a child loosing his mum.

This shows so much respect and breaks my heart. I not sure the Charles even knows what day it is. He going through the motions, his heart is broken, I can see that William is watching his father, like any son would. I'm glad both boys are there together, this is the worst time in their fathers life. Anne's has my heart as well. This is a very difficult time for all of them, but she is also a care giver. My God Bless them all.

So much pain, whatever people think of the royals queen Elizabeth was a lovely mum nana and great grandma to her family. It's so hard in families to all agree even for us everyday families but our patriarchs and matriarchs are those who pull our souls and emotions apart when they are gone. Nothing is ever the sane. Traditions are booed qnd disagreed. So many elderly patients I see are so alone in these old age. I hope we can all take from this that our grandparents, mum's dads are amazing. We all come to an age if lucky where we shoukd be able to put bygones as bygones and feel love. Love, empathy and compassion. Noone in this world should forget these three emotions. It's too late when they are gone. God save our lovely queen and all of her children, grandchildren and those who took care of her.

I don't understand why Harry wasn't allowed to wear his uniform too. I feel he's getting treated unfairly like his beautiful mother did.
The look of agonizing pain on Prince Harry's face is just devastating. Another huge loss in his young life. I hope Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet bring him much joy and comfort. No one should be judged for the way they choose to live their life, as long as no one is intentionally hurt.

I think at this one time, the Queen's funeral, that Harry and Andrew should be allowed to wear their military uniform and medals. They served their country, acknowledge it.
The king must bring his family closer or to support all of his children no matter what the difference is or trouble. He is the role model and he has to show good behaviour and care with love to his kids and others too.

I am amazed with HRH The King for completing this walk (in synchronic way) for 16 mins (I checked on google map lol) at his age. And being able to attend the whole service for The Queen. And then fulfilling his duty as a King. My dad is 60 something and he gets tired easily. Salute to the King.

I have to wonder what was going through Prince Harry's mind in that moment. Was it complete sorrow? All the memories with his grandmother? His mother's own funeral? I can only imagine how difficult this situation would be and then to have to look stoick and show no emotion would be even more difficult. God bless her Majesty the Queen and Long live the King.

This is such a heartbreaking moment for the family and Grandkids of Queen Elizabeth. My heart especially went out to Prince Harry and Prince William as they've relived an event of their momma Princess Diana. May God be with them and grant healing whilst grieving. May they remain close as brothers. That's what Princess Diana and King Charles would want. But, then he need to keep Harry and his family closer to him as well.
