Thank you for watching ❤ The last one of these videos did really good! We are happy everyone is enjoying the videos! Make sure to check out yesterday’s Joann video it’s our 150 channel member celebration & giveaway! When we reach 200 we will do it again! We are currently at 186 already 🎉
This idea is brilliant! Thank you Cody! The colors in that yarn are just beautiful, it's hard to pick a favorite...but the wide sample is probably the one I would go for. Reminds me of candy colors, very nice for a crib or toddler blanket.
Hi Glenda and Cody and 🐝Buzz 😊 I really like stitch samples 1 and 2. I like the colorway. Its 🤔 interesting how the colors play out. Thank you so much for doing these samples for us.🤗 Wishing you both a beautiful blessed day 🤗💖🙏🏻
Hi Glenda, hi Cody, I’m so happy to see you too together. It really warms my heart and reminds me of the times I spent with my grandparents. I miss them so much. I really love the bright colored yarn as well and that yarn wall behind you looks amazing. This is Friday and I’m sure gonna go check out your video that you were talking about with the celebration. And I hope you have a warm both. Have a wonderful weekend. ❤❤❤
I love when you do the yarn swatches in different stitches. I love that you show the varigated yarns up close in all of your sampler videos, but especially the swatches when you take a single yarn and show it worked up differently. You say it all the time "the stitch you choose will result in different looks" and most you show "favorite stitches" like a 3 shell stitch in a granny square because you know many people will.attempt to use the yarn this way. But when you show yarn worked in rounds, such as in hats or in various stitch patterns where there may be combinations of stitches, I think those are the best to represent how the yarn is BEST used. I love that baby wave. I am a fan of all things, Chevron. I like that you can use one type of yarn and get all those colors without having to switch out skeins every other row!
I mostly make blankets so I only buy wash and dry yarn. That is a very pretty yarn color,my favorite sample is the wave pattern. I really enjoy these videos, it’s good to see how yarns work up. 🧶💜🙏🏻
Beautiful yarn. My favorite was the new stitch Cody learned. I don't know what there was about it but it just stood out color and stitch wise to me. Thank you for another great video. Can't see what is next. I hope you and your families have a blessed week.
You are one of my favorite crochet is creative. Grandma and I must say that your grandson is the spitting image of you and the boy version wow. My favorite was the last, but I love them all. Thank you for sharing.
Great video! You did a great job of showing how different a yarn can look depending on the stitch used. Love it! Love that yarn too. Next time it goes on sale I will have to stick up.
Heys Guys, I liked the granny the best! Increasing the hook size would make it more drapey. Also washing w/fabric soft ner would help n drying it in the dryer... Lovely yarn... Thanks a bunch!!! ❤
Beautiful yarn. I like the granny square and the wave stitch.. It is a tie between those two. I am amazed at Cody's precision with the different stitches. I guess he learned from the best!!!
Hi Glenda and Cody. Loved the wink 😉 Cody you made me laugh. I really love the color of the yarn. My favorite stitch was a tie between the baby wave and the granny. Wonderful idea for a video, and the different looks are amazing. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day 💜 🌻 🤗
This is exactly the type of video that I was hoping your channel would put out. For us beginner to intermediate crocheters, it's hard for us to visualize which yarn is best for the pattern that we're going to make. Wow what a difference in all the different stitches. I think my favorite is a tie between the granny square and the double v stitch. It's amazing that one yarn can look so different. Thank you Glenda and Cody for taking time to do this it helps more than you know. I have some I love this yarn print yarn in "orange zest", "beret day" and the discontinued "Eddington Ridge". Although the yarn is beautiful it is a very busy print. I have tried a few swatches here and there but I'm not finding the best pattern for this yarn. I wanted to find what stitch pattern would accentuate the beauty of this year the best. If you're up for it, it would be nice to see if a long stitch versus a short stitch would look better. Thank you both for all that you do for the yarny community. ~God Bless, Sandy
Hi Glenda and Cody! I'm amazed at the way they look so different! My favorite is the granny square! Thanks for working these up and showing us how different stitches totally change the look of the yarn. Y'all have a great weekend 🥰
I appreciate so many of your projects/tips but among the best are that you feature yarns that the grandkids can actually use and play with. Thank you for that😊
Difficult to choose.a favorite honestly. That baby wave one would probably be my pick though. I'm hoping I have that one saved. Cody is doing an awesome job!
LUV 2 samples. The granny square and the one next to it on left. New stitch in the sample .. amazing, what a difference over all samples. Thanks so much for doing this- is really helpful! Will try to find that yarn so pretty.
I’m watching this for the second time. Actually, I watch a lot of your videos more than once. They are relaxing, interesting and fun. I have to say that I am always partial to Granny squares however, I also like the one that showed wide watches of color. Tell the truth, I like them all, but I will have to say I am still partial to the granny Square. I really like the idea of taking one yarn and showing it in different stitches, and different sizes of swatches. It really is a big help. I especially like the baby waist stitch.
Love watching you and Cody on your videos. It reminds me of my grandson and myself with the joking and Cody standing with you! Love to the both of you!
Hi Glenda and code how are you doing today I am doing fine today like second and the last but all of them are very beautiful colors thank you for sharing stay safe ❤❤
Coty you have been doing such an awesome job on the swatches. Hope you know what a blessing you are to CG. Really enjoy watching you two. Creative Grandma you have an Awesome partner in Cody. Y'all are so awesome together.
My favorites were the granny square and the wave! You are right Glenda, making the granny squares will show a different color wave!! Thank you Cody and Glenda for your videos! God bless you!!
I liked the wavy sample the best but, I do like the granny square sample as well. The yarn is a bit busy for my taste. However, this video is above all others for me because it truly shows how the same yarn could be so different. I have tried some yarns and didn't like how they looked, I didn't think to just try a different stitch. Please continue to do these types of videos in the future. I think we all could benefit from any yarn being shown in different stitch patterns. Thank you both ❤
I like the way the wave one looks which surprised me since I typically use sold colors when the pattern has so much texture. I do really like the granny square sample and I can picture it with a solid border/washing in between, can pick one color from all the various ones and each blanket would be different. Love this 5 sample idea especially when you show all 5 together at the end. Keep up the good work!
Sharon here.... I love the granny square, I do think all of the samples are beautiful, but the granny square is my favorite! Thanks for the worked up samples to see how the yarn looks crocheted. 👍☺❤
I like the "V" stitch.........also, when you are talking about machine washing and drying...I saw a video on you tube a few months back where the woman did wash and dry the Big Twist yarn..it didn't shrink, fade and was just fine. But the label did state "lay flat to dry".........

Cody, great job! I was able to find a video of Glenda's Baby Wave stitch.
This idea is brilliant! Thank you Cody! The colors in that yarn are just beautiful, it's hard to pick a favorite...but the wide sample is probably the one I would go for. Reminds me of candy colors, very nice for a crib or toddler blanket.
I am now addicted to the crunch stitch! I blame you, Cody! 😂😂😂
Hi Glenda and Cody and 🐝Buzz 😊
I really like stitch samples 1 and 2. I like the colorway. Its 🤔 interesting how the colors play out.
