I was not expecting that to look that great at the end. Pretty interesting find.

Thanks, I think it actually turned out really nice so far. But yea, that diamond in the rough took me awhile to see, which I think this video shows well.

@@RepTillis dude I have been subscribed to you since you and I were about 13, 14 or something, probably within the first 50 subs I'd guess and you'd just got your first blood Pythons. I'm sure your channel was called Hiimsteveduh? I've always really appreciated your academic attitude towards herpetology and clearly that's materialised in success for you - which is awesome. It makes me wonder what sort of direction you've chosen to take any personal collection in? Its been a long journey from the morph breeder days for most of us I tend to assume. Anyway for that reason it's always good to see you've uploaded 👍

I really loved this, and I'm working on a similar stacked design for a pair of scrubs. Are there pics of the finished product posted anywhere?

I’ll have to do an update video. Shortly after this Florida banned breeding scrubs, so I had to abandon that idea for this cage. this is used for a huge monkey tail skink now, and all my scrubs are in individual cages. I do have a big walk-in grow tent cage with a group of halamahera pythons breeding this year that ended up similar to the initial idea for this cage though.

@@RepTillis Thanks for the reply--anything you'd care to share, I'd love to see. Especially the halms.
There's so much room for caging creativity and progression, so thanks for sharing.

Did this cage ever get finished?

I have all the CAD's for the cage, and about half the parts printed, but then I had to dedicate all my printers for a massive big snakes cage in the works. But I should be able to pick this project back up in a month or two.

Looks like it was designed by someone who had no intention of actually using it

What's crazy is that they actually do use these cages. But in their humid, giant heated warehouse where space isn't at a premium and temps are starting at a decent place, maybe they work? But yea, definitely not thought out for a retail consumer product in the slightest.
