I don't make burgers often, and wouldn't have thought of that. Thanks for the tip! My friends tease me bc I'm neurotic about germs when cooking. I line the counter to avoid any meat germs touching it. I use disposable knives to cut up chicken. I could go on 😳
Funny story... I bought the pink plastic plate holders... cut the centers out and made like a “ frisbee” .. bought the plastic flamingoes from the Dollar store as well and made a ring toss game for my students ...I work in Occupational Therapy... they love it! Flamingo ring toss... what’s not to Love!! Enjoy your videos and your creativity... thank you for sharing... Ellen from Pa
I do social work so I always have kiddos in my car transporting for visits and classes and I use one! I drive an older Subaru and I keep a teal planter in the back and kiddos know they can put their trash in it. For the longest time I was conflicted because a lot of my littler ones were pretty messy and trashing my car but after getting a fun color “bin” to keep near them they’re happy to throw away their trash. It keeps my car clean and my younger kiddos seem to like it! Lol
Glow sticks for 4th of July!! I also buy them year round for a glow bath with the kids ..put a few in the bathtub ,turn the lights out ,and the kids love it!!!
I love the solar lights! I have a bunch in my backyard. It's nice to look out at night and see them illuminated. They're great for a buck. I've paid way more from other stores and they don't last any longer.
Yes i have been eyeing them Burger presses and BBQ Cooking tools for some time online for my area so i'm going to get them when going my Dt store , Oh those SLIDE Shoes are great to wear around outside in my yard when it's not raining out , Thank you for posting your video on your DT Summer Finds .
Paper plate (plastic) holders are a throw back. I'm in my 50's and my parents always used them for any family outdoor get together and also while camping. Another throw back is the plastic hamburger press. My mom had all the gadgets 🥰
Oh boy! Don’t I wish I was a kid again! I loved ... absolutely loved ... blow bubbles back in the day. Look at how many awesome bubble products dollar tree sells! Those were the best things you’ve shown; thank you, Kallie! 🐝🐝🐝
be very careful using the grill brush. our fire department put out a warning that the bristles of grill brushes can break off, stick to the grill, and then stick to your food, and be ingested, causing many different internal problems. and not just the dollar tree brushes, any brand.
I have the hamburger press and can attest to it's greatness. 👍 The water blasters are very popular with my two and five year olds ☺️ I told my three college student daughters to be on the lookout for those slides. Those would be awesome for the dorm shower. I often kick myself over Dollar Tree finds lol. Two weeks ago I bought four cushions for my patio chairs for $5 apiece at Walmart and thought it was a steal. Then last weekend I walked into Dollar Tree....and they had some 🤦
I got the thicker gardening wire and have been using it to make the nose piece in my face masks. It works great and has held up well in the washer and dryer for this whole school year. It’s a great buy for only $1.
So I just purchased that bubble mower for my kiddo right after seeing it on your video because I didn’t know a bubble mower was a thing and I can’t believe my poor son has gone this long without one 😂😂😂
My DT had Garnier Dry Shampoo when I stopped in yesterday! 😱 I bought 4 to get me through the summer! ❤️ smells really good and doesn’t leave heavy residue so it’s nice for a refresh after the beach, pool, or gym.
Loved this review, I already bought 3 pr of those sliders and Love them! You're also wearing the same color nail polish as me today! How cool is that!!!! Thanks for sharing, I always look forward to your videos!
Thanks for the slide shoe recommendation! I bought some and I am glad I did. I am Canadian and I am happy to say that they are available in Canada which, unfortunately, isn't always the case.
Great video! Also wanted to mention I believe the piece on the bottom of the garden light comes out and you turn it around and there's a point so you can stick it in the ground
Hot tip on the solar lights. You can find better quality solar rechargeable batteries from Amazon for dirt cheap. The charge and light lasts longer and takes less to charge. They even work on really dim, cloudy days because they hold the charge so much longer.
The plastic flower pots are also great for kids...if they knock them over there aren't any sharp edges like the expensive clay pots. Also easy to upcycle with your fans pray paint.
The dollar tree grill tools are wonderful we have been using the same ones for about 2 years, I'm glad to see the citronella incense going to try to find some🤗 Thanks for your info.
Also those and all solar lights have Battery in them. All you need to do is unscrew like 2-4 screws and replace battery for new one. And they’ll work over and over. I’ve had mine for 6 years now and still going strong. I just take them out when rain seasons come and clean them out and put them away till spring time. So Far I’ve been loving Dollar Tree Solar lights! 🤗
We camp out a lot with both girl and boy scouts. The paper plates holders are a LIFE SAVER when eating in a camp chair. Oh, the corn on the cob plates and pokey things are AMAZING. As is the burger press. Also, solar lights where the tent stakes go are a huge help. Do be careful with the grill brushes. They always shed on the grill... 😞
Thanks! Love it for our 4 yo and 1.5 yo. The solars fall apart, same as the wind spinners. BUT about 75% of them stay in tact so It's a victory when you can decorate your whole front with 10-20$ versus 2 items otherwise!
I think the Dollar Tree solar things are great. They're brighter and last longer than others I've used so for the past few years I only buy them at Dollar Tree. The new globe style is great as the solar panel's protected, but the original style as you showed is perfect to "dress up".
put them in a vase with rock or glass bobbles and put them in the bathroom when the lights go our enough light to see what your doing and safer with kids than candles. Also like the battery light that look like a light switch. put them flat on a mantel or bookcase closer to the ceiling lights up the whole room when we loose power. Son taught me that his science teach taught them they are more like a torch light than just using a flash light.
@@dorawedlock3969 Have you used regular or recharging batteries? I've read pros and cons about both versus just replacing the lights when they're only $1.
@@terisims9458 i just buy their cheap about 6? regular triple a batteries. Some take a smaller half battery and I just disposed of them because I have never seen that size for sale anywhere. If you look on the bottom of the light it tells you what size.
I have used the patty maker from dt for years. I find it is best to use plastic wrap or parchment paper in it because the patties do tend to stick sometimes. Especially if you are making a lot.
I have the burger press and the meat does stick if you're making a large amount of them, but I just put a piece of parchment in the bottom before putting in the meat and it's good to go. 🙂
Hi Kallie! I love that you do the research for me and I can watch the results in the comfort of my home. I still use the paper plate holders that we used as kids in the 70’s. My mother hated doing dishes so we used a lot of paper plates! 🥰
Loved the reviews of how stuff actually worked!! But one thing .... if we are using plastic paper plate holders....that need to be washed....why aren’t we just using plastic plates and wash??? 🤷♀️😂😂💕
Try cutting a onion in half and while the grill is still hot use a long metal BBQ fork and stab the outside part of the onion and then move the cut portion of the onion by going back and forth over the grill. It really cleans it and there's no onion taste on the next food you put on.
I used that grill brush for years. I do recommend wiping off the grill after using it because some people said it leaves metal pieces in it and it gets stuck on the food. It’s never happened to me but I started wiping it off just to be sure.
Hey Kallie! I love your videos. You mentioned that the planters are great to use indoors because you don't need to add drainage holes. While this is true, please be sure that you're watering your plants with some sort of drainage! Root rot is one of the biggest causes of death for houseplants, so it's generally recommended to use pots with holes and just water them elsewhere (like in a bathtub or sink, over a bucket, or using something as a drainage tray).
Plate holders enough for company:) I have had mine for years and lasted well. Beach sand toys/ beach balls and the butterfly nets are a every year buy for our big family.
You're so lucky to have Dollar Tree - here in the UK we have Poundland, Poundstore and Poundshop but don't seem as good as your Dollar Tree and while there are items at just £1 many items cost more. Everything used to be £1 but now range from 50p to £5.
How do they do it for just One Dollar?! It's insane. You shared some great finds I didn't know about! I haven't been there in a while, guess I need to stop in for some summer staples!
Pretty sure it's all made in China or some other country where they allow child labor and slave wages. I mean I could be wrong, but I doubt it's made in the US.

I wear those slides all over my house. They have helped my plantar fasciitis immensely!!!
I have used the citronella sticks last year and they were great!
I like to use the drink dispensers to fill with bubbles. Makes it so much easier for the kids to refill their bubble accessories.
very cool idea!
Thank you for this video. It's hard to know just what items are worth buying at the DTs a lot of the time. This is so helpful.
I love how your dog is way more excited about the bubbles and water than the baby that’s so funny 😆 Thank You Always For Sharing 😊
For someone who lives in a country with no dollar tree i always watch these to see the cool things i wish I could get lol
I feel your pain. I have several Dollar Trees, but none of them stock the cool stuff I see in these videos.

The solar lite stake is great. It lights up a significant area and with the cracked pattern. Very nice
