They need to take this engine and stick it in a 155x20 sled and wipe the floor with skidoo and polaris, this engine has the potential to make wide tracks really shine :)

My 1049 with a hurricane turbo and power commander and clutched does the same as what he is saying. Zero lag instant throttle. Really crazy on cold days keep her cool she boosts hard. Zero to hero in a blink.

After seeing this and the introduction of turbo technology into the product, has there been any thought to introduce a diesel varient to the lineup. Not everyone is an ultra extreme rider. Personally I would like to have a ride that isn't so self-destructive, as what is out there right now, with the ultra high rpms and limited mileage. Diesel also has no altitude obstructions for it's proper atmospheric performance that I am aware of, as it's compression based properties.

f350sdsc A diesel engine snowmobile would be cool. Any internal combustion engine is affected by altitude. The engine is limited by the density of the air it operates in.

@@shconer It's heavy enough without adding diesel weight.

My 1100turbo at 240Hp is deadset reliable and faster than most900s. high revs and throttle responce is the big advantage with the 900

Why dont you just build another light two stroke? You know everyone wants one. Throw as much power at it all u want but everyone wants light two strokes. Accept it yamaha and give us what we want!!!!!

The Arctic cat chassis can’t handle Yamaha power.

125-150 pounds heavier than comparable 2 stroke sleds. Cool Sled if it fits your style of riding.

Carp Spudpicker What don't you like about Yamaha clutches? I've had 6 yamaha's from SX, SRX, Vmax, Venture and no problems with clutches.
