When talking about what parts you need for certain drive, you could also add little pictures with number of how many of each piece you need. I personally take info in much easier when its visual. Other than that, solid vid
I personally have opted out of that "gambling" mechanic and use a save editor to activate all alt recipes from the start. It's a bit of a cheat of course, but I found frustrating the need to hunt for the good alt recipe when I need one. After a few playthrough, it felt redundant and unfun, so I cut my losses :D Great video for the courageous though !
I 100% get it. I dont unlock them all myself as I find that it adds enough variation to the different stages of the game to use different recipes on each run that I dont find it detracts too much.
