  • This project video takes you step by step thru the make of a glitter coated glass block. The photo has been stencilized. I use my Brother ScanNCut to cut out the stencil photo AND the super tiny Pomander font =) I LOVE MY SNC =D This is a UA-cam Channel for anyone that has the ScanNCut, ScanNCut2, SCAL4, Canvas software, or general questions on any of those, based on our Facebook members use and errors encountered. Could you mix the glitter in with the Polycrylic first in a bowl and then pour it in? That seems like it would be easier. This is really pretty!

+Carol Castillo NOOOOO. It will be one HUGE mess. IT will run and glob up on you. Oh what an awful mess =) You will see if you add toooo much Poly to ur block, it will be a bad time =( I got it just right in this vid. It takes a bit to get it just right, but I only added THAT first initial pour, and NO MORE, and it takes forever to slowly cover it, but it is worth it, so your glitter does NOT SLIDE around. =D

How long do you let it dry for?

+Carrie Bernardo Because I use so little poly, I did not need to let this dry before I put the vinyl on it. BUT do not add lights for a few days. I set it upside down on top of my old victorian registers, so the heat assists in drying. =)

What transfer paper do you use?

+Joyce Myer I use ONLY Stahls Magic Mask. That is the ONLY transfer paper that you can use with EVERY SINGLE item that you make, from HTV, to paper. IT DOES IT ALL, and I don't just say it, I actually DO IT, and they do NOT pay me to say it =)
