Thanks , want to go to cellular . Watch youtube ! alot says 80 foot range will not get it . fast trigger speed missed the first picture (3 picture burst ). Still don't know what I want ? Am looking hard at the tactacam but now will check out the moultrie too .
Thanks for the feedback and support. Keep in mind…some people love Tactacam…some don’t…same with Moultrie. Warranty, customer support, and the app they have matter. Hopefully whatever you choose works well. Best of luck this season!
My current cellular trail camera got stolen (bushnell cellucore). I loved the onX hunt app, but (my camera at least) has no gps tracking. Now I am considering who has the most anti theft features & leaning a bit towards Spartan Golive 2. They know what they doing with the security features & the internal battery. Data seems expensive so I think I need to look at going to a carrier myself. But the spypoint flex seems to have great image quality & priced better so I'm not sure yet.
I just got three of the new stealth revolver 360 Pro series and those do have foldable antennas just as an FYI plus some other upgraded features not available on the standard revolver 360. Also always take the megapixel ratings with a little trepidation. It may take a 40 MP photo but how many megapixel photo does it transfer? If it uses an SD card, the image will always be much sharper when you download the card than what you get from the camera . I had narrow down between the text cam Pro three and the stealth revolver 360 pro but I felt that the flexibility of the revolver and being able to choose how many zones I want photographs from as well as being GPS enabled, no one is going to walk up and steal this camera without being photographed. You would need four other cameras to have the same coverage that you get from one of the 360s. I don’t know about the other companies, but I can also say that exodus has a fantastic program for discounts for veterans first responders emergency workers of all kinds and it’s definitely worth a look
Thanks for the feedback. I still think cancel can in a public land field will get stolen…there is zero chance I would try that. Best of luck this season.
I am going to switch back to Moultrie mobile. I tried them last year but the cheaper camera I bought had terrible photos. But the 16AA batteries is so awesome the cameras last for months and months. That’s my favorite part. I stuck with stealth cameras originally because their customer service was good but I recently had multiple cameras die a they would t do anything for me and they are less than a year old. They actually told me to remove the camera then re add it after I removed it I couldn’t get it to add back on to my app and because of that they refused to replace the camera. Because they said they couldn’t prove it was mine. 😂
Yes, that is because battery life is based on the type of batteries one uses (lithium or alkaline), and the individual settings: video or photo, photo bursts #, image quality setting, etc. etc.). So, there are simply too many variable for a company to advertise that unfortunately. Thanks for the question. Best of luck this season!
Every since Moultrie got bought out a few years ago their customer service and products have gone to trash. Squirrels can literally chew through their feeders now. They cut corners to save money like crazy. I’ll stick with Tactacam.
Thanks for the review man! The exodus antennas do fold away though! And the price with the exodus app for data has been significantly decreased! Cheaper data and only $3 to add a camera.
Wow. I wasn’t aware of that regarding the antenna. Never saw an anything pointing that out. I wish I had. Even on the site, it looks like a rod that simply screws into the outlet. Regarding the data, I examined what was online with the Rival. Thats interesting if the prices are different, etc.
@@HuntDetail yes sir! We have a lot of content around best practices with cell cameras and one of the tips is always to turn the antenna so it folds away from the tree if a critter or anything would try to grab it. The data plans will be 40-50% cheaper than the SCOUTEK plans with the addition of unlimited! We haven’t made it public because the app just isn’t quite ready! Should be within the week though
I just odered the Tactacam Reveal 2.0 and Thowing away my Stealthcam. Unreliable garbage! Disconnected from phone, and charged again when I reconnected, Customer service is nonexistant! My noncell camera takes 80+ pics a day, maybe 2 a week from the cellcam. I was told I just got a lemon, but only a fool would give them more money after having my experience.
Keep in mind the Moultrie is the ONLY camera where GPU can't change antenna or add extended one. All the others have removeable sma

Ok. Best of luck this season!
Definitely a lot of good cameras but you should also check out Bow Creek Trail cameras!
Also might want to check what that “5 year” warranty actually covers. Ants aren’t covered
Will do. Thank you

It’s tough. Hopefully the Moultrie cams work as advertised. Best of luck this season.
Nowhere in your criteria do you list battery life.
