Lightsaber is Star wars collaboration with EXO to promote Star wars in Korea.

Ah, yes. Film industry especially Hollywood tend to have promotion tour or something like that, going to talk shows etc, US & Europe. I think they're just trying to find something new for Asian audiences at that time. Thus, the collaboration

Disney collabrated with EXO to promote Star Wars in 2016.
They were trying to find an artist to collaborate with for Asia's promotion, and Star Wars's crew stumbled upon EXO's El Dorado concert tour performance video and chose EXO because of that exact performance.
Their promotion didn't stop with song alone tho. They include photoshoot, a EXOxStar Wars merchandises, even have EXO and the cast joined the promotion tour in S.Korea once.
WHATTTT. that is so awesome. I wasn't too much into Star Wars in 2016 but I probably saw EXO in commercials and didin't even know it!

Dome tour's audience is about 40,000~ 50,000 for one performance!! They are going to 4-5 cities and performed 2-3 days😭😭😍😍

This must be The Exo’rdium tour in Japan. They usually held their tour here in many arenas for this 3rd solo concert. They held it 15 times in 6 different arenas. Usually they mixed all clippings in one DVD. Looking at the scenes. It could be the Kyocera Dome in Osaka or Tokyo Dome where I usually watch baseball. Their capacity for events like this is around 50,000.
IN case you don't know about EXO, here is the breakdown and the current numbers (of course it will change, but that's how it is right now) :
1- they are the HIGHEST selling artists with over 11 million albums in s.k (take note that they didn't promote outside of s.Korea and they barely promoted inside of it)
2- MOST awarded kpop artist in music shows with 110 awards.
3- THEY Are in the Guinness world records for most daesungs (like grammys but in South Korea) for a kpop artist.

@@OkayTinashe No shade in here. Their company barley promote them which is kinda upsetting knowing that they have so many potentials yet they were able to achieve this. They debuted in 2012, but their breakthrough was in 2013 with the song "GROWL". These boys have been through so much, from losing 3 members to being named their company's first mistake by the media, but they were able to rise.

Actually this video edited in reverse order, the first song was Overdose, then Transformer and final song is Lightsaber. Maybe you didn't realize when they took out the lightsaber, there was a rain on the stage which made their clothes wet. After the song they changed their out fit.

It is very Impressive right!! Every time after I watched this concert medley Video I will sweat as it is super good! They are really very amazing bunch of boys. Imagining their hard works standing up there performing for 3 hours continuously yet never disappoint us at all. ! I really salute to EXO!

that's not the whole concert it's just a portion of it and in EXO concerts there's actually sections. They actually have 4-5 sections that consist of 7-10 songs each. They have the edm, the ballads, the baby making song section ;), the acoustic, etc.

Kai spends all day trying to sex up the camera, there's probably pregnant cameras all over the EXO headquarters.

After Star Wars people seen them performing El Dorado, they asked this collaboration.
And as the stage is large they form groups of 3 for every edge. This is Tokyo Dome, so there must be approx. 75 thousand people. You may like to check Wikipedia “fastest selling products” - “concerts”. They hold records like selling 60.000 tickets in 0.2 seconds. And they have a “best concert” award. They are wonderful on stage even for a KPop hater.
