This band is hardly underrated. They're not even a band anymore so of course they aren't in the spotlight. Mudvayne was super popular in the glory days of nu metal, but that whole genre is pretty much dead.
I saw Mudvayne in concert 3 times. Each time they performed World So Cold. Each time it brought tears to my eyes. I wish I could see them again, we all miss Mudvayne.

This song hits so hard when you feel you're truly alone in the world; when you notice that everybody that once said loved you or cared about you are not around anymore.
It reminds us such hard lessons, and to keep straight on a road of angst and harsh truths, where everything is grey and no longer a child's play, and where the whole life already of us is no longer in the future. But, then, you realize that's life.
A real eye opener from Mudvayne.
This song saved me in a really bad time I was 15 years old when my mother died that's the only person I had in this world so I listened to this music and it really helped me get through it had an abusive stepfather that beat the s*** out of me but I'd listen to this music once she died I left and I was on my own at 15 this music helped me get to the place I am now which is not good but it's better than I was love you all who love this song

Holy cow Mudvayne look at all these people so touched by your music for YEARS now,everybody talking about how this band got em through tough times,dark times,days of sorrow and despair as hard as this band is there is still a light burning within. To me just on the strength of all these comments,this band is more of a success than so many other more popular bands. Raw and authentic,playing the way they want to, this band will forever be remembered as REAL. So much power in music.

This is one of those songs that i always get disappointed when it ends because that breakdown with the scream just sends wave upon wave of chills down my spine. I love it so much.
Ryan is one of the most criminally under-appreciated hard/heavy bassists ever.
1980s guy but damn Mudvane did it for me in the 1990s! Great band. Chad Greys voice just kills! He can sing & scream like hell!

Very cool.
This is my first time listening to Mudvayne. I don’t know why I hadn’t heard them before with my love of Nu Metal. His voice is fantastic. In his clean, he has this amazing nasally tone that you don’t hear that often in metal. It has a subtle way of cutting through the distortion that is captivating. And then the harsh tones.... I’m going through to go down a rabbit hole

I love Chad, this band influenced a lot of my taste in music in my 20's (2000's) and I still love listening to them today, and admiring what music came from these 4 people. Amazing, definitely a definitive band of the genre for me.
Mudvayne are extremly Impressive.
Their bassist is the only one that is highly skilled, the rest of the band is just good enough to be make a name for themselves.
+Sean Smith Ryan Martinie is indeed an Amazing bass player. The rest of the Band have interesting Personalities: names, other bands, creativity, and common aspects: some of them seem like they have had rough lives in some domains and their Presence on stage is again Impressive as well as many of the Videos they've done or concerts. Never been to one of their concerts even though I went to several Metal concerts (Slipknot, Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Sepultura, Slayer, Kid Rock, Pantera, ....), but I hope I will see them one day on stage :))))
+Alexandre Foin Dont get me wrong, love the band, and absolutely love the vibe the put out on stage. Very aggressive and raw with a funk in its step.
