Jumped my DB9 some years ago using cables from another vehicle….fried both headlight modules. Now I k know why. As always great info from Steve and Bamford Rose

Good to hear from the experts. My DB9 also needs some support via a jump pack occasionally. Works like a charm. Different brand than yours but same type. 5000A, 26800mAh, About 80€. It is amazing how these small batteries crank the big engine. Way better than if using jumper cables. And drains at a slower rate than the car battery when parked for many weeks. :-). It's always in the car.

Great tips - thanks! Glad I didn't fry any of my modules when my car was dead! I've kept a trickle charger on my car ever since.

Very interesting. I had a spell instructing on supercar track days and they were always jump starting the DB9's (3 laps, park, start, 3 laps) just pulled the rear seat panel and connected a jump pack, no issues as far as I know, but the cars were sheds so I may nor have noticed. 🤣

Good video. Thanks. It would have also been helpful if there was a quick shot of the actual jump location under the hood.

Suggestion, Steve - don't keep your jump pack in the boot, because if the battery is flat enough, the boot won't open.
