Strick buddy. When you're in a tropical area take along a liquid bandage. The stuff is like glue, but it's huge advantage is it forms a waterproof seal. You're right, everything gets infected up there, especially in the wet season. Another advantage is you can still go in unsafe water with it because it's waterproof. Any large chemist usually has a selection. I did know a Bushman who swore by a mix of off the shelf superglue & baking soda, but I'd talk to a Doctor before I actually tried that one myself!
You two are awesome. Some of the best cinematography and editing on YT. Stick, you are obviously a great son and companion, and Fran is fearless, fun, and game.
Hello from California! Thanks for inviting us along on your venture. Tell you the truth...... I’m envious. Enjoy yourselves, but be safe. Much respect.
That baby wallaby was so cute and the views are amazing! Please don't take any chances with that leg Strick. You really need both of them for all that walking and climbing. We wouldn't want you to lose one to infection. You and Fran be safe out there. --Jessica from Florida 🌞
Wow! This episode had everything. Ancient rock art, accidents, remote Australia, and some crazy fishing. Serious legend the both of you. One Life, One Search, Shane
Well done Strick. A over T and then still did the hard yards to show us some beautiful Kimberley country after a climb. Lucky man to have Fran as a companion.
I love the added touch of the knowledge through these videos, it’s raw and interesting. I love it that it’s not just watching all perfect moments, the feeling of struggle and reward help tease the sensations. Big respect for you all on the B2B channel.
Cheers to you my adventurous friends!!! I hope that wound heals up quickly for you Strick, you are in the best hands with Fran but being in the bush with a gash like that anything can happen to it. Don't know if you are going to post again before New Years/Hogmanay so if you don't I'd like to take the opportunity to wish You and Fran, Your folks and families and the whole B2B crew a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous 2022!!! May she be a damn sight better than the last!! Cheers from Canada - Dave
The intro shows you in hospital Strick. Dunno if it was the leg wound or you had another mishap. Either way, best of luck with healing quickly mate and getting back out there. Lucky bloke to have such a chilled and resourceful partner by your side. Fran, you are an amazing woman and it's great to hear more from you with each episode. Great vid as always guys - thanks for taking us with you.
Hi Strick, I am so glad to see you did not allow your wound on your leg to be submerged under water when Fran cooled off. I know that some people up North have allowed an open wound to go under dirty water, in water temperatures above 30 degrees Centigrade, only to catch a flesh eating virus that multiply and eat so aggressively that they would eat down to your bone in several hours if you can't get to Hospital quickly. Allow your wounds to scab over, or spray on a plastic bandage or both. Take Care, enjoy.
Very enjoyable TY! The ding on your shin, have Fran scrub vigorously with a tooth brush. It will not help it heal but is a good opertuniy to make you pay for any recent transgretions. It is cool that your shin matches your hat! Good stuff m8!
Your care for the land and animals is rare in my experience, keep up the great videos of remote places and I hope it helps to spread the word to be very careful with the Aussie outback so future generations can enjoy exploring it too, thanks.
Sick fishing action here ! Thanks for "bringing" me back to Australia and to go through my 21 days hotel quarantine in Hong Kong. I watched all episodes, it's far more addictive than Netflix, you better continue ;)
Epic scenery Guys, 👌 thank you so much for once again doing an Awesome job of showcasing our Beautifully wild country,, That shin looked pretty painful Strick 😬,, one consolation,,,You have perhaps the most Gorgeous and always smiling outback nurse in Fran to take care & look after you Bro Good Vibes from Aus Cheers 🍻 Peter
I think you guys are living the best life man and woman 👫. Really cool I don't have TV at present time and I'm watching Utube all the time for entertainment. But screw regular TV I enjoy this much more. Keep your adventures coming and I will keep watching. I'm from upstate New York 🇺🇸 and I'm a senior living vercaresely through u guys. Thank you for your adventures that I really enjoy.
These video's of raw nature feed my soul! I feel a yearning to get out there. Nth Australia is sooo beautiful. Thanks for your brilliant coverage! Keep it up!! :o)
Stick you made me nervous climbing those rock faces. I think that you made Fran worried too. I took a tumble down a waterfall once in Africa. I didn't land in the water. Luckily my heavy pack took the shock.... We value you mate.
Such amazing footage, well done Sticks and Fran, that shin injury was uncanny, I had one like that rock hoping, straight to the bone. Had to have nurses use a fingernail like brush to clean all the sand / crap out of it. You just took me back to the hospital bay and how much fun that was getting it "Cleaned Up" . Scars are very cool I'm told, you'll have one I recon. Loving the Rock art hunting, Stay safe!
Such a gift to ‘come along’ to places I’d never even thought about, and experience the minimalist methods you guys employ. Amazing teamwork and chemistry between you two! I’m labeling you both ‘keeper’s’! Thanks so much for doing this. It’s amazing!
On my first three month trip to the Gulf of Carpentaria, I sailed from King Ash Bay on the McArthur River near Borroloola to the Calvert River. Here I learnt that the quickest way to catch Queen Fish from a tinny was to just get the boat up on the plain with a two hook setup and bait about 20 meters behind the boat. The bottom hook through the nose of a dead mullet which skips along the surface. The Queen Fish vigorously compete to catch the mullet. Just have to watch out for the Eagles and Hawks, so they don't get hooked. Cheers.
My partner surprised and got me one of the Cray Long Sleeve shirt as a Christmas gift. Mate my eyes lit up as I unwrapped it haha. Much appreciated brother, thanks...
Strick you are very lucky man to have such a wonderful woman as Fran even when out of her comfort zone still supports you ! Australian woman need to wake up and be real like Fran
I've been places in my younger days when a broken leg meant death. Be careful out there. It is amazing how short an instant of inattention can have serious consequences.
An amazing place to be in these crazy Covid times. How awesome it would be to be with your best friend away from this crazy world. I wish you guys all the best for the New Year.
I got you on injuries mate. Fell over 15 times on slippery surfaces. bit twice by fish holding for picture, harpooned 3 times by catfish, bitten by sea bird saving it from fishing line tangle, Tetanus shot for safety. So fun making videos. LOL It was worth it. You take care being a "Mountain Goat Aussie". Luckily you got a great nurse. Peace mate.
Awesome content as per the usual! These episodes always get me so stoked on getting outside. Wishing you luck in all your future adventures. Come to North America sometime!
Another amazing episode with awesome fishing. I just Googled what a GT is and looked at the photos……that would have been epic if you could have landed that monster! You and Fran have the best channel on YT.
FYI....Grevillea “Honey Suckle” is a horticultural cultivar, the one you show in this episode is Grevillea pteridifolia. Although this has been filmed quite some time ago, I think you should be really be looking a little further away from the shore or amongst those rocky outcrops ...... camping on the beach in northern Australian croc country is truely risky Cheers guys, enjoying the series (hope that scrape doesn’t get infected)
You have to organize your selves a bottle of Propollis, where you can put on a wound to protect from inflammation. You might have to ask a beekeeper if he has a self made solution. It helps very well also in humid locations. Like your Videos!
That is absolutely spectacular the area that you’re in and I just love the birds singing wow. I’m amazed you don’t have by the way attend to your injury if you leave it all on the boat thank you very much for sharing this is just spectacular. I don’t understand why you don’t have flying critters all over you with all that blood..’ Thank you for sharing it it’s absolutely spectacular are you envy you not something I can do anymore my age enjoy stay safe happy new year
That Fran is a very good hunter gatherer.annd been lookn after u well !!..your camera footage is good but ive been following as your missus is delightful asf
Loving it!!!! Best wishes for 2022, your vids are 1000x better than those other Aussie channels,,, hehe... Cool you hooked up with LA Vagabond, missed Brodie In Exmouth, like them also but you have the content hands down!!!!
far out jack you gotta watch you self out there haha, I absolutely loved the vid you are my favourite youtuber but that is after YBS of course and I'm currently watching the the great adventure 1 all over again just for shits and giggles- keep up the good work and on behalf of every one I think I can say " you've done yourself a mischief".
I have a small electric fence I put around my tent at night when camping in grizzly bear areas. I don't know if it would work against crocs. Maybe you should get one and test it thoroughly first. A grizzly bear's nose might be more susceptible to a shock than a croc's snout. I enjoy your channel and also like your calendar. Thanks for "taking" me on your trips to sunny Australia. The windchill is -21C where I live as I type this.
Thanks for watching legends. We're going to continue on with the adventure and hope the wound doesn't get too infected.
Betadine is important when practicing rural medicine. It’s a antiseptic and will keep your wound from infection. Look it up! Put it in your kit…
Need to have an emergency plan just in case of accident
I always worry about you getting bitten by a snake or spider when crawling around on those rock ledges.
Love the spots you get to ,I'd love to know the location you go to obviously up north 😉
Brother your half rock wallabie climbing up that cliff 😁😁🇦🇺

I've watched public TV and loads of Nature films in 60 years, and you're showing me stuff I've never seen. Epic stuff, well done
Wow! This episode had everything. Ancient rock art, accidents, remote Australia, and some crazy fishing. Serious legend the both of you.

Well done Strick. A over T and then still did the hard yards to show us some beautiful Kimberley country after a climb. Lucky man to have Fran as a companion.
Appreciate bringing us along on the adventure. The Indigenous artifacts..are great to view..
That baby rock wallaby made my day. Thank you :)

That fight with the GT was epic!! You did all you could with the light tackle you had on. Great job as always mate!
Watching from the States, what is a GT?
@@tomb.8485 GT stands for Giant Trevally, which is a species of large predatory reef fish. You can catch them in Hawaii!
Giant Trevally is it then🤔
Cheers to you my adventurous friends!!! I hope that wound heals up quickly for you Strick, you are in the best hands with Fran but being in the bush with a gash like that anything can happen to it. I can't believe you climb around barefoot like that. Pretty awesome. Beautiful videos. Very inspiring
What an amazing, ancient area. Loved the video. (UK).
Wow, you can tell the fish have not seen many lures!!! Nice to see Dr. Fran coming to the rescue. Let's hope she doesn't have to put Strick down....

Amazing video! Thanks for the adventure!
Every time a new episode comes out I know a croc hasn't got you yet, and I'm thankful
Having travelled in croc country it took me years to overcome my fear of water. Better I didn't go there at all.
