I’m 75 , married for 52 years. Have had two strokes and walk with a cane. I’m enjoying the inter action between the two of you as much as the breathtaking beauty of your surroundings. Just went through a month of freezing weather and am envious.
Absolutely. I'm ready for winter to be over this year. Was kind of ruthless. We had blizzards most weekends. 65 mph winds, wind chills as low as -70F, only a few inches of snow at a time but snow within 20 miles is all blowing and staking in large drifts. get off work on Friday and hunker down for bad weather over the weekend. We got our first taste of spring this last week. had weather above freezing. Love watching back to basics, they give you everything, great couple, great adventures, fishing, diving, cooking. one of the best channels on UA-cam as far as I'm concerned. Just hunker down, turn up the thermostat and dream of being in paradise while the wind is howling.
Malcom Douglass would tip his hat to you both, he was a trail blazer, yo guys stepped it up, the clarity of video is exceptional, well done to you both
Hi ! just want to say, i'm following 35 of the biggest sailing/fishing/adventure channels here, and your channel is one of the most fantastic programs to watch. I did 50000 km off road tracks in an Fj cruiser I build. I lived in Brisbane from 2014 to 2019 while working for survivor television. I thought i went through it all but I can see there is still a lot to explore... Now i'm back in Denmark, getting ready to cruise the world in my catamaran. And you guys are keeping my spirit high, while im working hard, in rain and snow getting ready to explore. So thank you so much, and pleas continue making, the great adventure series.... Hang loose...
Just adore you too. I love the way you treat Fran, respect and you thank her all the time. Your parents did a wonderful job raising you. Fran Rocks!!! Love South Africa
This man and woman are living free and living the dream. Awesome I wish I could be there. Stay safe and strong and thanks for your videos. I love to watch.
Would so much like to see a vlog on the back story details, the logistics of fuelling, locations of support destinations, communications channel background support infrastructure. GPS locations of your destinations, the information detail, planning that goes into setting out on such a voyage, such as do you carry a spare prop, batteries, what tools for maintenance, what happens if you get in a situation that requires an evacuation. Love the content and the presentation world class.
I say it every week, but your best video ever. Best adventure blog on the Tube. Really love to see sassy Fran. I remember when she would barely speak on camera and looked awkward fishing. Sure hope you guys are planning adventure # 3 already!!!
That squid fishing footage was the bomb! They are such good chew! Malcolm for the win. Squid has to be the best ever! Living the dream! Cheers for sharing the best adventure ever. Since when is squid ever not tender?? Fish soup and bread, OMG I am dying here! So that is "roughing it" WTF?? Yea come back to WA, live the dream! Cheers for sharing the adventure! Strickers lift your game, Fran can't be doing all the heavy lifting on the squid fishing! Stay safe!
Oh man this particular episode is amazing , the cinematography is outstanding ! The sequences are euphoric . Please keep doing what you guys at B2B do . It gives someone who is stuck in a day job in the city a chance to escape . Even if it is in mind only , for now Peace and Light ! Cheers ..
What an awesome adventure. You two have something special. I’m not talking about the reef and all the beauty of your trip. We run across people that we meet in life and as you get older you sometimes go back in memory and think “ what if”. I got lucky and put a ring on my wife’s hand 33 years ago. Never been happier. I don’t know you all and what happens off camera but you both are lucky to have each other. If You two don’t share a long life together, I guarantee this time in your lives will be “ what if????”.
No words can describe what you have brought to us. A very big well done to you and of course the Master Chef Fran. I really would like to see some more of this beautiful Australian coast line.
Yeah friends of my partner told us about your Chanel you guys definitely stand out. I grew up in PNG so you bring my childhood back to me. My partner loves everything you do. We are big fans. You definitely have the right mix and dynamic. We love Fran's cooking, and fishing outdoor activities abilities and think you guys make a great couple. Love the educational things. Just became our favorite adventurers to watch.
Thank You Strick and Fran for taking me on your great adventure and enriching my life..I've really enjoyed your adventure's with your Mom and Dad and Brothers , Please Stay healthy. Cliff
What a wonderful Country we live in. Thank you both for showing it to everyone. Malcolm Douglas would be proud of you both. Awesome footage, Cheers & well done.
Mate these videos are epic! I’ve had surgery this week and had to spend the week on the couch and your videos have helped me get through!!! Most people drive to Cape York but not you blokes! Boat and kayak! Wow! I’m now your new biggest fan!
lovely footage of one of the earths oldest regions. Rocks are billions of years in the making and the landscape timeless. Still unknown just how long humans have been there. 40-50,000 years ? Everything is big, remote and unspoiled. A great watch, cheers.
You can tell Fran knows how to use a spinning rod. At the end of a cast she manually closes the bail as opposed to just cranking the handle to close it. Kudos!!!!!!
This is an incredible glimpse into a life a lot of us could only dream of. The age of technology... at least we get to see it. Much love and safe travels.
I was waiting for this spot of the reef waterfalls. I use to watch Malcolm Douglas and the bushtucker man with my brother and dad all the time. These shows ignited my interest of adventure and a love for the outdoors which also seemed to have the same effect on you Strick. You are a very lucky man to be in the beauty of one of the last remaining untouched places in the world and sharing it with a beautiful talented women like Fran. Safe travels and can’t wait for the B2B Great Adventure 3
Spectacular! Simply spectacular film / drone footage. Wow! I hope you realize that you are living the dreams of thousands of other people. Just keep it going. You two are legends!
Hello from Fiji, loved the video. I remember Malcolm Douglas when he put his boat up on the reef, caught some trevally with home made lures and had a feed with his dog until the tide came back in to float off the reef. Your whole video is amazing. Both of you are true adventurers. All the best, Natalie🙋🏻♀🌺🌞
Incredible footage of the reef. My mum flew over it when the tide was dropping and we were live videoing it as I am in Phoenix. Your video is way better, but I won't tell her that. Love and miss the Kimberley. Thanks heaps for reminding me how beautiful that part of the NW is. Looking forward to you going south.
I'm hungry!! You guys eat better in the wild than the majority do back in civilization. Great episode, again. Thank you, again. And Strick, remember, no more wrong holes. ;-)
The Great Adventure 2.0 isn't over yet! We've left the Kimberley but will continue down the coast next Sunday. See ya then!
Fran is hilarious! "wrong hole again Jack"
Stunning wildlife photography. Thanks!

That fried squid had my mouth watering almost 9,000 miles away.
What an awesome day. Nothing better than fresh seafood on a remote beach.
Please go back! Love it. You guys too....
I don’t know why your not sticking around for the wet season fishings is twice as good and to watch those lighting shows is something special
I grew up with the videos from Malcom Douglas. You are doing the same thing - and I soak up every second of your videos. Well done!
