I have followed the video. However, when I open the video file I want to transcribe to text, open either a word document or Pages, and push the F5 the video continues to run, but there is no sound. If I turn the video off I know the microphone is working because I can dictate and it will transcribe my words. Why doesn't it work as per the the youtube video?

@@talktodayusa Yup, tried it while playing an audio file on VLC but the dictation app would pause the VLC player everytime I did the 'press CTRL twice' 😑

This doesn't work at all. Dictation turns off the minute I hit the play button on Voice Memo. Come on, man.

god these videos never help.. how do I do this on pages.. why you using word on a Mac
