Cast thy burden upon the Lord,
And He shall sustain thee.
He never will suffer the righteous to fall;
He is at thy right hand.
Thy mercy, Lord, is great
and far above the heav'ns;
Let none be made ashamed
that wait upon Thee.
Thank you. I have been looking for this beautiful song 😢❤
The song comes with a promise of peace only God can give.
Reduces me to tears, remembering singing this in the vestibule of our Chapel at Tuskegee University every Sunday morning.

Believe in The Bible as the highest authority.
Believe in The Lord Jesus and you will be saved.
The glory of Jesus Christ not only when He is in heaven, but also when he was crucified!
Where is the accompaniment?
Lucky Organist, was he getting communion?
When I was a worship leader, I tried to make sure that any member of the team who played during the Lord's Supper received the bread and juice so that they could partake when they were finished.
I grew up in the Methodist Episcopal Church where this acapella rendition was sung by the choir after prayer.
