@Jojo reference Simple. Someone in the anime team knew. I mean, since Zou Oda started leaving notes of things he couldn't include in the manga due to him wanting to go on with the story, so instead he give those to the anime that can add them for him.

I was always hyped for kyoshiro since his intro. "Top yakuza boss"
Kyoshiro will probably play an even bigger role than he already has & is probably currently the strongest samurai in Wano. And I wouldn't mind it the flashback continued through Denjiro's perspective up until where we're at in the current storyline.
*EDIT:* Someone in my thread made a good point for Doji being a greater samurai than Kyoshiro so I take that back, but regardless the gap between them isn't even noticeable & Denjiro is still undoubtedly the best out of the nine scabbards.

Ashura Doji is still the strongest samurai, literally the ONLY samurai who could defeat him 20 years ago was Oden, and he wasn't lying around for 20 years. He's been training and surviving, slowly but surely increasing his strength. On the other hand, Denjiro, while still maintaining his Samurai skills (he is DEFINITELY not weaker than before as shown by how easily he blocked Zoro's attack) he's spent so much of his time as the witching hour boy that he's lost literal YEARS of sleep, and thats proper rest required to retain gained strength. I don't think Oda will make him the strongest, but rather with his current connections and intel from Kaido/Orochi, he will be the most USEFUL going forwards

@@michaelalvarado2165 It is, but here's the thing though, I think a lot of people are assuming that young Denjiro's hair is black, even though we've never actually seen him in color; only in black & white in the manga. It's very possible that his hair is actually dark blue, which would then make sense if it turned to the light blue that Kyoshiro has.

Calling it now, come the end of the Arc Momo will say that his dream is to see the world just like his dad, he joins the Straw Hat crew as their first "Apprentice Pirate" and Hiyori stays on Wano to act as Regent until Momo comes of age and returns to become Shogun.

It seems plausible. I agree with the Hiyori part. And I am kind of calling it now. Hiyori and Zoro will be an item.
I wanted Reiju and I am still okay with it but Hiyori gave Zoro her father's weapon and treasures have to stay in the family. So it's not that Hiyori gave him the sword, she chose Zoro as the one to use her sword while still being hers. If that makes sense.
I think maybe mono will give the title of shogun to his sister who endured 20yrs and knows what the country needs. He may feel you are ready to lead this country I am still to young before taking up the mantle.

What I really liked was the panels and the panel transition.
Everytime some time goes by, you can see the panel go into stripes on the side, whcih is such a small detail, but a really clever one at that.

The Reveal that Denjiro is Kyoshiro makes way too much sense looking back on it and its something not a lot of people thought about, its such an interesting reveal, everyone was focused on Hiyori being Komurasaki theory originally, no one really thought about Kyoshiro and this ultimately means all the strong samurai on Orochis side are most likely now on the alliances side which means Kaido loses a massive strong part of his force.
It was the prevailing theory until the connection between Wano and Zoro pointed slightly to Zoro's master. It's something a lot of people thought about.
I had this 1st thought way back and even when we got the flashback intro to denjiro as a orphan and wat he was doing made sense
It was kind of revealed in the anime opening because they showed kyoshiro with the other scabards
true but you just have to hate the anime sometimes because it showed Denjiro doing the time jump lol.
Well, Kyoshiro being Denjiro was considered ever since kyoshiro helped hiyori, with denjiro missing and all. But we had no idea how denjiro looked like. So before the flashback, kyoshiro being Denjiro was pretty much the biggest theory.
Then the flashback came with Denjiro looking like Koushirou, which, now I look back to it, makes me even believe more that both theories are correct. Kyoshiro and Koushirou are phonetically extremely similar. One might even say that Denjiro and Koushiro originally were twins split at birth.
Denjiro's sunglasses suddenly make sense- they were hiding his kyoshiro eyes. I wish the anime didn't spoil that little nugget

Oda knew the fans would overthink Denjiro's identity, so he was just messing with us in the anime opening. like "yea put him there, they'll never think i'll make it this obvious odahahahaha"

This reveal sort of fell flat on its face for me. That Denjiro character left 0 mark on me, I actually completely forgot he existed. That's the issue with following the manga week by week, some pieces fall to the side.

15:14 Tekking those are squats, which do in fact, work your legs. Also, deadlifts are great for building legs also, it is a compound motion. Just a little bit of fitness fyi

Tekking, the story about your dad's kidney stone - That was me a month ago! Like HOLY SHIT I had no idea it could hurt that badly and yeah, I was thinking it was appendicitis as well and went to the hospital. You basically described the exact same situation I was in, I just kind of had a huge freak-out moment listening to you recounting it. I always assumed the painful part of a kidney stone is passing it but NOPE, it's fluid buildup in the kidney caused by a stone that REALLY hurts like you wouldn't believe. Like, pain that'll make you vomit. A lot. Goddamn.
So anyway sorry your dad had to deal with that, but I feel a bit vindicated that he mistook it for appendicitis as well. I felt kinda stupid for rushing to the ER thinking I was gonna DIE when it just turned out to be a kidney stone.

Okay now it's clear that Ame no Habakiri will end up with Denjiro and he gets to kill Orochi
For the part about Oden telling Hiyori that she can play at his funeral, it may sound messed up but in Japanese culture (especially older times) it was pretty normal to talk about your own funeral. How it will be done, all the arrangements, how youll be happy if people visited your grave etc.
I think what a lot of people are missing is that freaking Komurasaki is daughter of Oden, she has his genes, and has been training for almost 20 years under Kyoshiro, which means, she is insanely strong and is going to be key factor in this war.
Also, remember when Law was released from the prison? On who released Law? It's probably Kyoshiro (Denjiro).

I was afraid of deadlifts after seeing people pass out. Then I started doing them a month ago. What an incredible exercise! Definitely deserves its place in the monster trio of exercises.

That's how Jack was able to find Zou and why he was looking for the ninja, cause Raizou was actually working for the beast pirates. The minks ended up getting tortured for him. And even Shinobu is foreshadowed this chapter as a sobstitute for Raizou both of them being Ninjas...
@WindTheBrave And the Cat and Dog ended up losing a leg and a arm because of him, and all the minks endured torture and they'r homeland being destroyed... So it will hurt even more if he turns out to be the traitor... Classic oda...
Also this chapter Shinobu asked if she was part of the team... And Shinobu is a ninja like Raizou... I think she will end up taking his spot in the end.

If you're referring to kings wings being white that was an anime error. If you look at the current episodes of the wano opening they changed it to black. So we still don't know what king is.

About the opening, I think it was made with anime-onlys in mind. When Wano started and Shutenmaru was introduced, we didn't know right away that he was one of the scabbards. Sure, it was speculated, but it took a bit of time until it was confirmed. So for someone who experiences this arc for the first time with the anime, Shutenmaru and Kyoshiro are just 2 seemingly important characters who show up together in the opening right after the scabbards. Then speculations start xD
Basically it is the beginning of the end
