I remember back then when Burkie was asked about Sergei Fedorov as trade rumours came up about going to the Canucks and Brian said 'one Fedorov is enough'
@@charlisantini3403 Fedor... 6'4'' 220. Bieksa 6'1'' 197 lbs. I don't think smaller non fighters means what you think it means. I'm embarrassed for you.

This is great. I always heard legend of this story but it’s cool to hear it in detail straight from the source. Love these animation stories. Keep ‘em coming!
Huge fan of the show! Please keep them coming. Hated Burke cause he never GMed my team (Sens), but love him as a person. Always called it like it is. Maybe run in the next election. Lol. Thanks guys, LOVE THE SHOW!!!!
I've been fortunate enough to meet a couple of old-time NHL players, and could listen to their stories for hours and hours. Just put a microphone in front of Burkie, give him an open bar tab, and listen to the stories.
I had always hated when the Preds had to play the Canucks partly because of Bieksa. But now I think he's great on TV as a commentator/analyst. This story totally explains why I've both hated and loved him.
Yeah that's pretty much impossible, difficult to do on purpose even. The article that lead me here said he spilled Federov's beer. Wonder what his version of the story is.
Probably a combination of exaggerating the distance, the haze of time and booze affecting exact recollection of details, and just being a strong dude overdoing it with the stirring.
Absolutely love the Hey Burkie series, these old stories get me every time. Please keep them coming SN!
God I love Bieksa, missed him ever since he left Van. Great to see him thriving on HNIC though!
Does Bieksa even like it though? He seems like he does the media because people tell him he's great (and he is) but he's just like "cool, alright".
@@mattblom3990 He loves Van enough to sign a 1 day contract to retire here.
Love the Burkie stories.. we need more of this, inside look into hockey off the ice.
I remember back then when Burkie was asked about Sergei Fedorov as trade rumours came up about going to the Canucks and Brian said 'one Fedorov is enough'
Wonder if Burke looked at the contract he was gonna offer Bieksa and said "I guess the juice is worth the squeeze"
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
_I was just stirring my drink and an ice cube flew out and hit him. I totally apologized and didn't want to engage in a bar fight._ (Sure....)
Finally! Been itching for some more stories from Burkie!
Damn, so Bieska's best fight was the one we never got to see.
and against smaller non fighters....as usual

Please keep making these. They're fantastic.
Been waiting for this story forever 😩 I was literally telling a friend about this a couple weeks ago.
1:04 Nintendo , Blades of Steel .. haven't heard this sing in years but burned in my memory for life

lol that's Patrik Laine at 0:27
One of my most favourite Canucks stories
Burkie's dinner order is EXACTLY what I would get as well.
The vegetables they serve with steak dinners are just decoration, right?
@@mrquirky3626 Ron Swanson wouldn't even allow them to remain on the plate.
Best series on this channel.
The AOF nod is what I live for man 🤘
Fun detail: The name of the restaurant - Slå mig means "hit me" in Swedish
punch me

Alexisonfire banner cameo. Nice.
The have some awesome music on this series!
Burkie is the best gm my nuckers ever had! Love the juice too and these stories. Thanx guys!
LOVE the AOF being in this, thats mazing
This series is SO GREAT! Thanks SN!
By far my favourite Hey Burkie, that was hilarious & awesome
I love the Hey Burkie series so much. Always gets a laugh from me
These stories are always amazing!
keep em coming love this series
Wonderful! Miss that Burkie!
And that's a wicked fiddler there!
"You don't know our boss, he's going to sign you tomorrow."
Bieksa would go on to Superman punch enough people for there to be a compilation on UA-cam 😂
thx
The best series I wasn’t looking for !
Wow what an amazing story!
Love these!
One of the favorite canuck of all time
This is the best one yet
0:27 Patrick Laine on the violin?
The best show on UA-cam.
Pure art
Well done!!
Would be interesting to hear Fedor’s side of the story
Seems like a scene right out of Letterkenny lol
Don’t come up the property, lol.
Alexisonfire Jammin in the back. Nice.
I love Hey Burkie. Great Idea
Alexisonfire was probably the last thing I expected to appear in a Hey Burkie video
Love that Bergevin just has a big ol' tub of protein powder
When i stir my drink, ice goes flying 5 feet in each direction......
Love these.
I remember skating with Fedor once. It was at Shawn Burr's summer hockey camp. I was 16 or 17 so he was probably 11 or 12.
Patrik Laine is absolutely murdering it on the violin!!!
the fight scene was straight out of the Letterkenny play book
I’ve been waiting for this one.
Animations are getting better and better, top notch!
the Blades of Steel theme is the greatest
The restaurant’s name means “Punch Me” in Swedish
Patty laine playing the violin is crazy
I had always hated when the Preds had to play the Canucks partly because of Bieksa.

okay but laine with glasses playing the violin.
I love this!
Ah yes remember hearing about this in Winnipeg.
love these
Would've been cool to have included the dates Burkie signed all those aforementioned players, along with all the other info that was provided.
Nice video 👌🏻🔥🤙
Merch! Ordered.
Love it!
I love these
Slå mig ( from the restaurant in the beginning ) means punch me in Danish 🤣
So the name of the restaurant is in swedish. Slå mig means hit me, kinda fitting for this episode
omg a new episode! Happy St.Pattys Day to us
haha love the animation . (:
How does an ice cube fly out of a cup and hit a guy 5 ft away? I'm talkin the magic loogy from Seinfeld kind of in depth explanation. I need to know.
Right. That's some ice cube. How hard was be stirring that drink? There's gotta be more to the story.
I just listened to a clip of Bieksa recollecting about this and apparently, Koltsov also went after him at the same time.
So proud Juice retired a Canuck!
Love the story
These are cool
Love the "danish connection" in the restaurants name! Slå Mig Restaurante = Hit me restaurante :-) :-p
It's the same in Swedish.
Music choice 👌
Slå Mig Ristorante = Hit Me Restaurant. Brilliant!
Never in the world of physics, has an ice cube gone 5ft in the air (still at chest height) and hit someone without being actively thrown.
LET'S GO!
Perfect use of alexisonfire.
is that Laine on the violin?
THe name of the restaurant, "Slå mig", means "hit me" in swedish :)
shoutout alexisonfire
The title made it seem as though "Juice" got in to it with...
Fedorov....as in Sergi
Canuck fans knew it was Fedor
1:52 alexisonfire comes on😂😂
Heard this one before :')
Is it just me or does the fight sound like an episode of Letterkenny? 😂
Great story
I like these
hahaha "thats prison food"....."consider me incarcerated"
I'm going to need some time to decide if I prefer the new intro.
If you use the word “Fedorov” in a title. And then the player is Fedor Fedorov, I swear you’re going to catch more than just Bieksa’s hands.
❤️Juice 🥤
tomas plekanec at 0:21
And well... Bieska turned out to be a good signing! who knew getting your career started from a rouge ice cube!
Someone ask Burkie about Peter Zezel.
Yes,that was his biggest douchebag move as GM here.
Burkie said Juice was a “grouchy, miserable, obnoxious bastard” and then 10 seconds later called him a leader and a class act lol
Makes you wonder how Sportsnet can get it so right with Bieksa and so wrong with Kelly Hrudy.
slå mig ristorante lol that actually means hit me restaurant! ironic
