I’ve finally settled into Premiere Pro, so I’ve moved on to learning SFM to be able to make thumbnails for my TF2 channel. I dunno how much time I’m gonna spend on that side gig, depends on how big it gets, but I play TF2 a lot and have a ton of clips, so I’d say it’s only reasonable to dump some time into making montage or commentary vids and whatnot.

A nice fact about the switch menus: the clicking sound when you tap on an empty space on the screen will be lighter and quicker if you use your pinky, but if you press your whole thumb or more onto a spot, it’ll be a deep and booming sound

When you say “empty space,” you mean the spaces that are there if you less than 12 games in stock?

I remember hearing about the camera glitch around Joker's release. Falcon's Final Smash gave an aerial view of the stage, which looks really cool on Pilotwings/Wuhu Island.

Because Doctor Mario’s mobility is just Mario’s but with a -1.5 multiplier. It’s still strange why they didn’t round it.
Now I hate to be *THAT* guy, and I do apologise, but a - 1.5 multiplier would just make a high negative number. The number is 0.5.

Theory:
The cutscenes are off screen and when you activate the final smash, it teleports the screen to the cutscene. When you go one frame, it pauses the screen also. And the teleport back to the main stage is maybe on a different frame, so it pauses it or something. Maybe it skips that frame or something. Also maybe each final smash goes a different distance upwards which you could test with the luigi ladder and time it.

Normally the cameraman is a literally omnipotent and omnipresent being that can withstand all damage, and by definition, is Queen Elizabeth II. But, that doesn’t mean she is omniscient.
Doc actually uses Smash 4's equipment multipliers for his attributes. In that game said multipliers were permanently applied to him in addition to whatever equipment he had on (though the "inherent equipment" is applied first), but in Ultimate the same system was carried over with no changes other than the actual values.
After the camera glitch, if you use Ice Climber's final smash, it'll turn the camera back to normal but oddly slanted. Almost every cinematic final smash breaks the camera

Fact: Lucina's shield break jump goes slightly higher than Marth's, making it take her 3 frames longer to land on stationary level ground. Ken's is marginally lower than Ryu's, but this only makes it take 1 frame longer.
No other echoes appear to have this quirk, or if they do it's too minor to be noticeable.
If you use Kamikaze as hero in the spirit testing zone, he won’t die but instead he will be stuck in the position for a short amount of time.

Sora's also applies, but while Pyra, Mythra and Kazuya also have cutscenes, their Final Smashes eventually cut back to the stage so they most likely won't work. Conversely some non-DLC characters are also able to trigger the glitch such as Incineroar, Mega Man, King K. Rool, the Star Fox characters or Captain Falcon.
I remember hearing that doc’s stats match mario when given 10 attack and -30 speed in smash 4 equipment or something
I have a reason for the Dr Mario one, the person that made it was a massive Dr Mario fan and decided that everyone should know his *exact* frame data, not some rounding
Even though this would be a fun reason, it's very likely not the case. I doubt the developers would even insert such exact values normally, specially considering how often they use round numbers for many other things. It's likely just someone who did a multiplication of Mario's numbers, and got numbers with more decimals.

If you use fox's fs and then use a non-cinematic fs (i only used pacman so idk who else this works with) the stage reappears in the camera but slightly to the left and in a fixed position
Hey pk beats. I made a stage that takes away snakes second mid air jump, even though he is standing on the ground and uses grounded attacks, and theres no ceiling hes could be hitting his head on. I have no idea why it happens. The stage ID is 3fw6rrpr. To activate the glitch you need to be snake, burn his second jump and up b, then enter the cannon. Once it shoots you down tech the stage. You will be exactly like your on the ground, except that when you jump it does the double jump animation, and he cant use his up b either.

13:57 the smash bros wiki says that that is indeed the case: Dr. Mario has his attributes such as jump height and run speed are set as the same as Mario's, and then a multiplier is applied.
I found a weird thing! With isabelle if you use fishing rod on 1/4 in training and move the bait around it moves weird and oddly! Also the fishing rod goes farther than usually with the 1/4 speed you could catch the player from the other side of the platform from the other platform on battlefield
here's a random smash fact in training mode kirby's hammer model doesn't show when it is in 1/2 or 1/4 speed in the little bubble thing when your offstage
I think that glitch works becuase of how cutscene final smashes work.
Notice when you hit someone with a final smash, the characters fly up with the camera then the cutscene ays.
What this glitch does is stop the camera going back to normal because of where the camera last was, hence why progressing multiple frame wont work
Young Link hits Pichu one less time since they were Melee clone homies.
The Young Link issue works against Mario too btw, but less consistently. I noticed it a while back when I was messing around in Training mode, and it seems to always be the 11th hit for some reason. What's weird is that the hitboxes appear to be the same for that hit as the others, so it's kinda a mystery why it happens.
Did you know: hitting your copy of smash ultimate with an axe will probably break it

I found that it works with all diamond and netherite tools as well. It is most difficult to break it with a wood stone and gold shovel.

Awesome video :) From what I've heard, Dr. Mario's weird stats come from Smash 4 where his stats were the same as Mario's but with some permanent custom equipment (that was a thing) giving him more power but less speed. That means we could get regular Mario with Dr. Mario's stats if we gave him the right pieces of equipment!

Little Mac main here! Mac’s ko meter applies to attacking an opponent no matter what. This includes super armor, shield, etc, but not intangibility frames. This also applies to Mac being hit, except 3 times as quickly.

(TIP FOR PKB, you dont need to tap L at all, it works if you just hit B when in frame by frame mode, unless they semi-patched it, but thats how it used to work when it was first-ish found out)

The broken background after the camera glitch is caused by the game not clearing the framebuffer between frames. The glowyness is caused by post processing running the bloom in unbounded feedback, like with mic feedback noise.

hmmmm what if you use kazuya's final smash, its a weird mix between cinematic, and not cinematic
One last piece of trivia regarding the Switch's lock screen. You can use the unlock screen (where you press a button three times to unlock) in TV mode. Simply wake up the Switch in portable mode and press A once to have it in the unlock screen and put it in the dock.

I found out that if you go to edit in custom stage,(downloaded or original) then select change fighter right when you die,(doesn't matter if you actually change the fighter or not) then the damage won't be shown until you die, stop playing or change fighter again. This works for the CPU with the same rules, but the timing might be a bit more tricky.

Here's two facts for some pretty funny cheesy stock steals.
During late to cutscene final smashes like great aether, if you are able to damage the targeting hit at all after the last hit, with the combination of the high, untechable knockback, the game will consider it your stock that you took same with the galaga item. If you damage someone who is abducted by the ship before they star KO it will count as your kill. I haven't tested if the beetle works the same way.
It's easiest to do this with PK thunder because you aren't at risk of getting caught in the final smash
And as the Luigi Ladder continues to fly, it pierces through the darkness, ripping it apart. And thus, the universe was born
Simple how to break smash ultimate. Put that game into its box, then put that box in another box, then mail that box into yourself, and when arrives SMASH IT WITH A HAMMA! Its brilliant, brilliant BRILLIANT!

My brother and I just played a game in the joker-olimar glitch, and it’s an actual horror to play in👍
I did the glitch with 4 controllers so I could glitch the screen with joker and olimar, and afterward play a mewtwo ditto with te other two controllers
At first there was nothing. Then, a flash of light and two Luigi punching each other came out of it. Thus, the universe was born.
