@@stephencarmickleexactly when I hit 25 leagues and 50 best ball.. realized I should have diversified the best ball. Always diversify for best ball even you only draft 10 leagues
The only problem with not diversifying this early is the dreaded camp or preseason injuries. I had entire teams gutted by week2 when i lost a few guys before the season started. it’s a gut punch

Meh, if he's my 5th RB it's not a huge investment. I'm taking Ford a lot as the 5th back on my roster, seems a low investment/high possible return guy. Chubb may not even be healthy at the start of the year, lots of question marks there. If it doesnt pay off early then I can dump him for my first roster move. As with nearly everything with fantasy, it all depends when you take him. 5th RB is just a flyer.

@@Extrasourcream2 Not in underdog best ball. Different system. 5th RB in this format is code for 'extra guy first to dump for waiver chaff'. By week 2 or 3 he's either the guy (Chubb not healthy) or already gone.

Arthur Smiths usage of Allgier last year when they drafted Bijan makes me confident in Warren
Part of me wonders if we're going to look back at this year and ask ourselves why we were taking part time backs and untested guys over Mostert. At least he wasnt involved in the passing game so if he hits again it's going to likely be for no more than 80% what he did last year. Which is still a lot better than guys going before him.
he prob wont even do 75 pct of what he did last yr. u know how old mostert is right

That kid Broderick Jones the Steelers drafted in the first round last year is an elite people mover as well. Plus they gave the Rams Kevin Dotson who became the highest graded run blocking RG in the game last year.

I find it odd that you all think Bowers would have more impact on the Rams than the Raiders. On the Rams Bowers might be the 5th best target. On the Raiders he's instantly #2. Also, the Raiders have a long history (no matter who the coach is) of taking decent level talented TEs and making them elite. Guys like Cook and Miller and Waller (etc, etc) who put up top 5 numbers on the Raiders, then sign with another team and go back to decent at best. A rookie TE going to the Raiders 1st round might be the biggest bankable guy in the rookie class.

My prediction for Pittsburgh backfield is Najee. Arthur Smith burned the fantasy community with Bijan last year (me included), but after looking into this, I think he has a certain "type" he likes in RB. When Art Smith was the OC in Tennessee, he gave Henry - a big back out of Alabama and classic power back - the lion's share of the carries - a ridiculous amount of carries. I think he likes big power backs, preferably real blue chippers like Alabama. So who fits that description? Najee is more like "henry light" I think. Just my guess into the odd mind of Art Smith. Magic 8 ball type prediction but I trust my gut here. Art Smith himself claims "even Henry, we didn't give him 550 carries ... so there will be plenty of carries to go around." Notice how he thinks of Henry as the standard? Who is closer to that 'standard' of these two backs? So Magic 8 ball type logic tells me Najee is the one to draft. But I'll probably get burned again just like last year LOL

I just traded Aaron Rodgers and next years 3 for Pacheco. Super flex dynasty league. He really needed a QB. I have Dak and love and pick 1.02 so maybe Caleb or Harrison.

Lloyd’s ADP in 140s puts him right in line with other split back field backs I don’t get why Adam seeing such value in him at 54%
If Jacobs gets hurt the Packers will not give him 100% of the use age based on your point of LaFleur being so into split back field
He thinks Dillon is cut, and Jacobs was BOTTOM 5 in several stats last year, is why the Raiders parted with him.

You say Pacheco won't get 15 TDs. A guy who last year had 15TDs was Mostert. And you can get him mid round to late. I am going to grab him. Yes, he is older, but he takes care of his body and has not had a ton of usage in his career. He is a red zone monster, unlike Pacheco, and you can get Mostert much later.

What’s with the optimism around Seattle’s offense? I know they have good skill players but it’s the same group as last year. Grubb has no NFL experience, and their HC is defensive minded, I just don’t see it.
Full disclosure - I am a Vikings fan. I don't understand why Aaron Jones is not getting love. Yes, he is older. But look at how he finished 2023. THREE TDs against the Cowboys in the playoffs! "But he's too old." Really? And the Vikings with a new QB will run the ball a lot, I think. And our O-line is good at least running the ball. Draft Jones and you will be laughing this season. One strategy I might use is drafting Vikings RBs mid-round to late as a kind of stack, which will allow me to grabe elite WRs the first two to three rounds in the draft.

I did exactly this! I ranked the receivers based off their pickem lobby yardage predictions then used TDs as a tiebreaker. I’ve been dying to talk to someone about high the pickem lobby ranks Pittman! By my method he is 11 spots higher than ADP at WR13! Other WRs who the pickem lobby rank highly are: Evans (WR 9) DeVonta Smith (WR11) and Pickens, and DHop. Then the WRs the pickem lobby is lower on are: London, Nabers, Dell, Reed, Holywood Brown and Ladd.
I’m thinking about taking the under on Pittman and drafting the hell out of DeVonta Smith.

For regular leagues yes. For best ball you draft more than one for their spike weeks.
